best in the business

Every University has positive and negative things and I do think the positive part embraces more then the negative aspects of thr university and thus can be took as one of the best universities in north india.

The course curriculum is well designed and formulated and the degree is divided in eight semesters and each semester has its own importance and subject fields. Every subject has its own credits which are divided according to their values and difficulties. Also sets of subjects include practical subjects which are intergral part of the course. There are three mid semester exams(each of marks 40) before the final exam (max marks 60) and best two of three are selected for the average and for the practical subjects same criteria is followed and are held just before the main semesters.

Placements and jobs opportunities are my title to this review "best in the business" as I think. More then 150 companies visit every year in our college and they pick up students on the basis of interviews scheduled. Yes my college also provides internships which can be with job letter or can be seperated and it totally depends on what students needs. My internship experience seems to be good with the college and the company, I had got a chance of internship in one of the companies and then I went onto my placement offer interviews. The cons are that my college allows only one offer per student and one dream offer execpt multiple offers if you got placed in one of the mass recruiters or in which college allows you to sit in the rest placement drives.

There are two major fests which are held every year in college one is Rangrezz and the other one is explore (different for baddi campus). Apart from it many technical events, workshops, talks, cultural fest, sports events and many many more events are held in the university, inshort something is happening everyday in the college in some department everytime and if you are interested to take part you are free to get into it but yeah, please maintain you attendance 75% is must. But, I want to enlist one of the events called global week in which professors and students from all over the globe come for a week and give their set of lectures and enjoy the culture of the universe and students.

The fees structure is expensive but yet affordable, and the university are providing the best in such ammounts and yes it is total worth of money. There are two divisions in the tuition fees which are tuition fees, development fees. In the very first semester fees there is also a refundable ammount called the security deposit.

No scholarships are provided by the university(only for my course I don't know about the rest) also I don't not know about the loan facilities available in the university. Loan facilities from banks can be availed(not very sure).

The extra curricular activities, labs equipments, sports facilities are good but I would not say rather excellent. Our university is good in sports as there are always some sports team going somewhere and coming back as winners so the sport are good part of the university.

The Alumni network of the college is best part as there are alumni meeting scheduled for the alumni's and there experience are shared and are took for the best to the next generation of the batch. Also seniors from the college are good helpers if required something from them. Alumni lectures are also scheduled for the students and the Q/A are helds with it.

The admission process starts with form submission and then counseling process according to entrance exam of engineering colleges called JEE(joint entrance exam). JEE is must and is required to get into the university. After JEE there are form submission and the counseling is scheduled at University premises and according to marks course and branches are alloted and I got CSE from the process and then I went on to reserve my seat by submitting the graduate semester fees and relaxed.

Faculties are very generous and helpful in the university, they treat the students nicely and I don't think any doubts regarding any of the subjects remain uncleared if asked properly. There is high ammount of confidence build up if someone wants to achieve something unexpected. But with a lot of pros there are cons too which includes that there are seperate departments for everything in the college and mostly when you got to the other departments teacher may not know who you are and may not have the desired information to guide you to the goal.
