Remarks
I pursued an MBA course from Ranganathan Engineering College. The campus is a very beautiful and nice environment. It is surrounded by mountains and the view is amazing. I made a lot of new friends and enjoyed my college life a lot. The professors were very nice, overall I would say my college is awesome.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our course curriculum covered all the aspects of a management course, including business economics and financial management, etc. The syllabus is somehow tough but if you study it sincerely and motivate yourself, you can make it like me
Placement Experience
Internship and placement cells are available in our college, they advised us for the upcoming recruiter during the pre-finals. Our college has more than 21 recruiters; HDFC Bank, Tata consultancy services, Accenture, Cognizant, etc and a lot more companies.
College Events
Each department has its own events. We have activities like Stress-free Thursday, very important and helpful for the students. We also have clubs, eco-clubs, and Fine Arts and Humor Club. My college is an eco-friendly college, we also plant trees as awareness for a better environment.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I applied for the MBA course, so it is a full time of 2 years and paid INR 51,000 including other fees of INR 10000 in the first year and only INR 41,000 in the second year. This includes the tuition fees of INR 20,500 in each semester. There are four semesters in total, 2 semesters each in a year. So the grand total is 92,000 for the whole course.
Campus Life
Our college has a smart classroom which is very convenient for the students as well for the teachers. We have transportation facilities, central library, Laboratories, Gym, open-air theatre, Hostels, ATM, etc. We have it all.
Admission
I applied for admission on the basis of TANCET scores. I was from the Humanities stream but then changed my mind to pursue an MBA. I scored around 70% and cleared the TANCET entrance exam. And then, I was called for the counselling at Anna University to get admission to which course or college I want to choose. I chose REC. I also paid INR 5000 for the counseling fee.
