Remarks
College stands 1st in the state in field of science colleges in the state. Though there are certain strict rules and regulations of college are there but due to that only St Xavier's College stands at the top most position.
Course Curriculum Overview
Research programs, presentations, projects are carried over in St Xavier's. There are two internal exams in each sem for theory which is of 50marks each. And the external exams of 70 marks for each sem. Beside this there are practicals exams also carried out by the college and externally.
Placement Experience
Yes internship are provided by the college. College has signed MOU with different reseach laboratories and also various companies and industries which helps providing the students intership ni their field of interest.
College Events
Various events were celebrated in the college.Various events relates to science are also celebrated. Beside this there is cultural festivals celebrated in the college. Eventually Christmas festival is celebrated every year during Christmas.
Fee Structure And Facilities
There are fwo types of fees taken by college. As college is granted and also self fainance.So the fees for garnted is feasible around 10000 per annum nd for the self financing it reached around 70-80 thousand per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship were provided to the poor students.Various scholarship provided by government is much enough for paying the fees of Xavier's. The students with good acadamic records receives price money provided by the college.
Campus Life
Various extracurricular activities are carry out by Xavier's. They send students for research projects in IPR,PRL etc.Separate labs for every department with every lastest equipments.Basketball, cricket, khokho, kabadii, football etc. Every indoor and outdoor sports is carried out in Xavier's.
Hostel Facilities
No, I don't opted for hostel. But as per my friends experience the college hostel have a very old infarsturcture. The rooms were old.There are 4students in each room. The mess was also good but we cannot say it is excellent.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are very helpful in each and every steps of the college. My seniors are till helpful to me though i m in the last year of my grauduation. The grupps on social media helps to keep contact with the seniors and alumni.
Admission
First you have to apply it online on sxca.com. Than they call you for documents verification if your name is in the merit list. After verifying the documents you have to pay the fees if you really interested to take admission in the college. The volunteers over there are so much helpful at the time of documents verification process.
Faculty
They are well experienced and helpful. All the proffesors having doctorate degree with them.Beside teaching they are all doing their personal reseacrh works in which they involve UG -PG students to take part in it and taught and encourage towards research.
