Remarks
Best college in my surrounding ,in around mayiladuthurai. The college has a decent level of infrastructure and also has a vegetarian canteen which contains snacks and foods for the students, teachers and for the other staffs.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is designed by Anna University of Chennai. The exams are for 80 marks and internals 20 marks thus total of 100 in which 50 marks will be pass mark.The pass mark is divided into individual category I.e. 13 for internals and 45 for external.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunity are quit low but it is available for 1:10 amount in current situation. The placement is program is conducted at the start of the final year. My college does not provide any internship programs.
College Events
Annual sports meet: The sports meet is conducted annually and the students achieved in district, state level competition are given medals and are honored by the chief guest. Science symposium: Projects and inventions done by the students are showcased. Technical development & motivational class.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure is very much comfortable.The tuition fees for the management quota student is rs.85,000. The tuition fees for government quota student is rs.50,000. And if the student is first graduate then the fees is rs.25,000.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship are given for the students who came through the counseling seat. The scholarship is based on caste of the students which varies from rs.6000 to rs.10,000. But there won't be any scholarship for students who came through management quota.
Campus Life
Lab are perfectly maintained with adequate amount of instruments. Sports activities include a wide range starting from chess to cricket, carrom,table tennis, volleyball, football, badminton and all athletics are included.
Hostel Facilities
Nope.I am day scholar but some of my friends are staying in the hostel they say that the hostel is good for the money and is food are not bad(somewhat OK level). The Infrastructure is quite good with the capacity for 2000 students.
Alumni/Alumna
Many senior students have got central government jobs. For example the students who studied in electrical and electronics course have got jobs in TNEB office. And also some of the students from various department have got job in core companies.
Admission
I got through management seat. It is affiliated under Anna University College of Engineering.The admission is done based on the Anna university counseling method, students securing the requy cut off marks are eligible for getting the government quota seat. If not able to meet the above said requirements then the student can avail for the management seat which will have 25,000 more as the tuition fees.
Faculty
The faculty are well trained and experienced.The teaching staff usually have a minimum of five years of experience in any of the Anna university College and other affiliated colleges in TamilNadu. The faculties have completed their master degree.
