PSG CAS- a place for Good Education

Nothing much our college is not so bad. It's the heaven for us to enjoy ourselves and it is the one college where we can shine according to our aim and interest. In my point of view there is no negative about the college.

Good and Common Course Curriculum for Arts College. Totally 6 CE Exam(Full Prtion exam) in 3 Years(2 in each year) & 12 CA Exam(small portion exam) in 3 Years(4 in each). In a single academic year, firstly 2 CA Exams then a CE exam andthen 2 CA exam and a CE exam.Same for all 3 years.

There will be some Good Companies come for Placement in our College, minimum ?10 k stipend. College will not provide any internship but it is mandatory for students to do a internship in any Company before the course completion.

Heartbeat, Wizard, Curry Masala(food festival), Manavar Mandram, Short Flim Festival, Department wise Event, Biztrac, Culinary demonstration, Entrepreneurship development, Soft skill and Placement Training.

Yes, sc/st scholarships are available and loan facility also available for students. Its one of the good in our colleges except for others. But I don't think the college has a scholarship or loan facility to students. However i beleive that banks extend educational loans and dont deny the loan if we study in PSG.

Extracurricular activities are good enough everything sports, workshops, events, etc. I wasn't joined in any extracurricular activities. Our college campus will be more enjoyable and this is ragging banned college. No ragging will be there in our college. There are many extracurricular activities are there, more sports too, labs will be equipped with costly equipment. The best lab facility.

There are 3 range of Hostel for Boys: 1. NRI- 2 for a room with attached bathroom.(?112000). 2. New-4 for a room with attached bathroom.(?97000). 3.Bharathi-5 for a room, Common Bathroom (Moderate Cleanliness)(?70000). For Girls there are many Hostel in different range.

Having taken charge at a time when tremendous progress is being made by India both economically and technically, he is working with a clear-cut vision of keeping the PSG institutions updated. His belief that giving back to those who were a part of the PSG institutions have resulted in schemes like Special Health Care for Alumni. He has taken on the responsibility of conducting the centenary celebrations of GRD by charting out various activities which pay tribute to GRD’s vision. He is working towards making PSG institutions tower over all other institutions and continue its glory.

Firstly, I applied for the course I selected with my 12th mark(1132/1200) along with the a Marksheet.Then after a week they announced First Merit List, which I wasn't selected with a mark I scored. Then they announced Second Merit List/Waiting List, with this List they select a few(3-5) top scored applicants. In this List I was selected and I got Admission in PSG CAS.

Good teaching Faculty members,but if we want to score good marks in exams we should make effort in asking any doubts.They will not make you study. Dr D Brindha has been appointed as Principal of PSG College of Arts & Science with effect from 11.05.2018. She is a proud alumnus of PSG CAS having completed her BSc and MSc Biochemistry with excellent academic credentials. She did her doctoral research from Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women. She joined the Department of Biochemistry at PSGCAS as Lecturer in 1988 and later became Head of the Department in 2013.
