Just another factory for the mass production of medium skilled engineer

It is an average college producing engineers good for people who are just want a medium 9-5 white collar job. The average placement package is 4lpa and the highest package is arround 10lpa. And the best part is you will enjoy your life in this college. The seniors are good and if you do ok you will the fine.

The course is outdated like every aktu affiliated college but if you learn a few things outside the curriculum then you would be for your own good. This is about the ece. The curriculum for CS is pretty good. The exam structure is pretty simple. The semester exam is conducted at the end. It is more of an atku level exam and you will be given a center where you will give your exam and result will be uploaded on aktu website. There will be 2 internal exams of 40 marks each for internal assessment.

The placement is good as compared to various other colleges. I got the placement very early in two companies so I'm not allowed to attend placement activities anymore until a company comes that offers double package. But the companies are coming. And they will give you every assistance possible as they aim for the highest placement records.

There are various clubs like enthiran(technical club) lingo freaks( literary club) etc and they all conduct separate small fests(mainly some games and fun) and then there is unifest, a combined fest. It is for 2days. Day one is for competition and many colleges participate. Day 2 is for dj and other fun.

The fees for my batch is 121400. This is a little high when compared to other similar colleges. This also includes aktu fees. You can pay it via net banking, paytm, demand draft. They usually don't include cash as the payment option but you can pay library fine or any other late fees by cash.

The best one is provided by the up government itself. You can fill up the form if your family income is less than 1lpa. You can get up to 120000 depending upon your caste and income. The process is simple just Google up govt. scholarship and open up the website and then register yourself. After registration fill up the form and get submit it and then submit a hard copy in the registrar's office and wait for the government procedure to finish.

The labs are old and mostly under equipped. The faculty rarely takes intrest in the labs and if you need any help you can ask the lab assistant. Most labs are about a file and a viva rather than learning but if you want to learn you can as most students don't take interest so the equipment is all your's.

The seniors are good and helping if you ask them. They will not pick on you on try to insult you. Ragging is illegal and is taken seriously. The best way to get in touch with the seniors is to join clubs. They can be a great help if you ask them properly.

I gave the UPTU exam and I passed it. Then I went for document verification. They give you a location and date and the list of documents you are required to bring. After that you pay a counseling fee and fill in the list of institutes you want to attend. Then they give you one of the institute from your list depending on your rank. And you go to the institute with the allotment letter and then there you pay fees and finalise the admission.

The faculty for my department is ok at best. They are mostly pursuing P.hd under the guidance of senior faculty members. Some are good they will help you out with your projects or subjects. Some would be a little too much. But don't expect them to be really good they know the subject that's it.
