A Good college for academics and placemi

The only downside of the college is it doesn't allow the students to take more than 6 days of leave in a semester. But the college does provide good placement and every event is organised really well and the college always sticks to their schedule to finish things on time.

This is a 4-year Full time course comprising of 8-semesters. Exams are conducted by the University at the end of each semester. The college conducts a test every month based on the test, internal marks are awarded which will be added to the marks obtained in the University exams.

The college gives good placement opportunities for the students. Placement usually starts in the month of June in the 4th year and ends at the month of march. Internships are also provided by the college during the 6-semester.

Symposium for each department is organised every year. Culturals and sports day also happen every year. Festivals like Christmas, Onam, Ramzan are celebrated in the college. On Hostel day, Hostellers are provided with special dinner and play events are conducted.

Fee structure depends on the mode of admission. Fee structure is lower for students admitted through merit quota compared to that of management quota. The college bus and mess food is mandatory for both Hostellers and day scholars. The college doesn't collect money as fine. Overall Fee structure is feasible.

Scholarships are available only for students admitted through merit quota. Students get back 5-20% of the fees as scholarship. Christians and Muslims get higher scholarships. Meritious students also get higher scholarships.

The college has good lab facilities for all departments. The college does encourage the students to participate in sports and some students are also admitted into the college through sports quota. Extra curricular activities are conducted in different clubs of the college.

I have not opted for the hostel. But my Hosteller friends are satisfied with facilities in the hostel. The food provided by college is really good and non veg is served 5 days a week. Each Room is shared by four people. Separate hostels are provided for girls and boys.

Senior students mentor their junior after they reach 4th year and the alumini network is good. Some alumni from the college are working are dream companies and have done their masters in premier institutes in the world.

I got into the college through management quota. The admission process through management quota is based on the marks obtained in class 12th. The process was fairly simple I had to contact the college and the fee structure, course details were informed and I got admitted.

Most faculties have good knowledge on the subject and are experienced. There are some faculties with average knowledge. More than 60% of the faculties are doctorates and 20% are currently doing their PhD.
