Remarks
Positive : The college is well maintained lush green campus with good infrastructure and facility. All the faculty and staff are professional and having good knowledge in their subjects. Negative : some rules are created which make no sense when they tend to make money.
Course Curriculum Overview
Computer science is always a trending course as I was always interested in programming it was best for me. We have semester system where the syllabus is bit outdated but learning basics on certain programming was fine.
Placement Experience
The placement of the college is good in town. They get good paying and opportunities providing company. Pre placement training will also be provided to student's on how to be ready and be professional.
College Events
The celebration in my college is lame. We celebrate onam, Christmas, sports day, college day and tech fest every year. They used to conduct department wise fest's too. Dance at the end is the only fun part we have where all get to dance with music.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It was feasible, as I had written the cet entrance test the fees had been reduced. I had to pay extra on uniform and if transportation required an extra. Teaching fees was not that expensive compared.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are lots of scholarship for the students who need. Most of scholarship are for backwards and obc categories. My college used to offer reduction to Christan students and some good rank holders. Loan facility I don't think so.
Campus Life
Tech fest used to provide opportunities to showcase talent we also had many groups for extra curricular activities. Labs where well maintained and newly equipped.sports had good appreciation the events like sports day would provide opportunities.
Alumni/Alumna
They arrange alumni day ever year for the students to reunite and share their experience and memories. The alumni network will help the college and students to get in touch with company for job and interns. They are really helpful in term of funding for college and recognition.
Admission
I had to clear the cet entrance test for getting the admission. After getting the scores in test I had to submit documents at the centre in Mangalore then a mock allotment is to be selected online then a college will be allotted in that list.
Faculty
They act a bit strict in beginning but later they are really friendly and they mentor you in good way. They used to clear my doubts when asked. In project you get to choose them as guide and they provide good support for the ideas.
