Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is tough and it can be made more job oriented.The course can be made a B.Sc. Their are two main semester exams in an year and each semester has two internal exams.The marks of the internal exams are cumulated for the semester exams.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities are comparatively less, but the value of the college certificate is great and accepted all over the nation and even internationally. Internship programmes are mainly for vocational courses. But students are allowed to do internship if they want.
College Events
There are many events celebrated in the college. College Union day, College day, Arts day, Sports day, Berchmans day, Model United Nations, Basketball championship, International seminars, Lecture series, Orientation classes.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees are feasible and there are special reduction for poor students. The students are required to pay only a minimum fees. The economically weak students are given additional care and support. There are semester fees and exam fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are scholarship of many kinds. There is higher studies scholarship for academically excellent students and there is post metric scholarship for economically backward students. Science scholarship is given to students excelling in Science.
Campus Life
The extra curricular activities are great. The sports division is very excellent and are the champions in many championships.The labs are of medium quality. Extra curricular activities like arts and drama is well promoted.Two drama competitions are conducted every year.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel infrastructure is good and above all the hostel experience is the best that you will get from this college. The inmates of every Hostel would be a mixture of students from every department and the food and other infrastructure is sufficient.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni association is very strong. The alumni network is a great contributer to the growth of the college. There are national and international chapters for the alumni association. Many international great people are the alumni of this college.
Faculty
The faculty is exceedingly well in proficiency and are good guides for achieving success in life. Most of the teachers are so great in their subject and has great knowledge in it. Moreover they help us in the daily walks of life.
