It is a very good colleges, but lacks behind in encouraging students in developing themselves. But overall a good experience at the institute and eventually students find themselves the best thing they can engage.
Course Curriculum Overview
The exam structure goes like 3 exams per semester. It starts with the class test, session al examination which is followed by the semester end examination. There is a different weightage for different exams.
Placement Experience
Yes, it does provide these opportunities for students. There are good companies that come to the the college for hiring and internship. There is a good competition among students for placement, but for internship we have a few companies only, and I'm regretful on having missed out this opportunity.
College Events
There are a number of cultural and technical events in the college. While the college is a bit less supportive of these, student organisations make sure that is an ample amount of these for the students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is expensive for NRI and gulf students, moderate for the All India students and quite feasible for the Gujarat Students. There are also scholarship opportunities for the eligible students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, based on the JEE score in the first year and then the GPA in the previous semester, the scholarship is provided to students who are financially and geographically eligible for it. These are not provided to NRIs.
Campus Life
There is a cultural, technical and sports fest held each year, based on the institute and the college level for students all around the university. The labs are good and well equipped with ample facilities.
Alumni/Alumna
Yeah, students fro nirma are known to get to good college abroad and make a good living for them later. They do good research and have a strong network. They go so far that many are now invited as guests for expert lectures.
Admission
Through merit list based on 12th passing marks for NRI students. For others it was based on the JEE exam for All India and GUJCET for Gujcat Students. The selection was based on a ranking where top students were selected.
Faculty
We have one of the best faculty in our course in all of Gujarat. The faculty is experienced, research oriented and focuses on building the resume of students. Apart from academics, there is emphasis on research and projects.
