Very expensive in fee structure, placement need to be improved, staffs should go deeper into subjects, good cultural and sports activities.
Entrance Preview
When I joined, it was a deemed university and therefore, I did not take any entrance exam. My uncle had influence in this college and therefore i got a chance to join B.Tech EEE in Dr. MGR University .
Course Curriculum Overview
Cource curriculam is not bad they have a regular subjects, exams, practicals and so on, like other colleges we get more opportunity to explore ourselves in the final year. Staffs are very friendly and helpful but, unlike anna University staffs, knowledge of few staffs are quite bad in respective subjects.
Internships Opportunities
Internship is available only for joining as professor and not for general subjects/projects for example, if a person who completes ME/MS can take internship in this college and stipend is pretty good more than 15K I guess.
Placement Experience
Pretty bad only the students with higher GPA say 9.0 are elligible for big orginizations and others can be a part of regular companies during placements but the college does not ensure for the placement of all students with good scores. Whoever are selected during the placement with few companies that arrive, are the lucky ones.
College Events
In this department, my college rocks we celebrate cultural events every year and we conduct lots of evets, including enterpreneurship which allows students to do small business inside the college. We have collaboration with IIT Madras for improvement programs and events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Expensive i have heared the fee structure from my friends who have studied in anna univ affiliated colleges and mine is almost more than twice than those.
Fees and Financial Aid
Nothing as of 2011 when I completed my degree. However, heard that they are offering scholarships for higher studies in the same college (ME).
Campus Life
As I mentioned earlier, we have enough of sports activities football/cricket tournament cultural programs from each departmens and therefore, this college is very good at it.
Hostel Facilities
Food is pretty good and we had never faced any health problems such as food poisoning or similar problems when having mess good. I am not aware of hostel facilities.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes unlike other collages, they were very friendly and there were no events like ragging or such they were very helpful in our studies and prodiving materials too .
