My Review

Every college has both positives and negatives. Coming to positives : Good infrastructure, Good curriculum, Meeting industry Standards, Labs, Teaching staff, And good and big play ground. Negatives : Considering Attendance very strictly.

Course Curriculum is great which includes the cutting edge technologies to meet the industry standards. Exam structure is quite normal as like most of the engineering colleges across India. We have two exams internals and the externals. The internals are for 40 marks and externals are for 60 marks. Internals will be calculated according to your Attendance, Assignments and Mid exams. An External exam will be conducted for your external marks.

Placements are not up to the mark, but TPO is trying really hard to bring the placements. Our college doesn't provide internship which is not a good thing at all. I hope they will inculcate that in their curriculum.

Events celebrated in our college are Sankranti Mahosthav, BECTAGON, Actually BECTAGON is celebrated once in every two years. This event is great to watch and participate and all the Departmental events. Departmental events include Fresher's, Farewell, Guest lectures, Alumni meets, Workshops etc.

Fee structure is moderate which is around 90,000 INR as of now. Government provides 35,000 INR to the students who joined through EAMCET. To SC and ST students it's free. To the students who secured a rank less than 10,000 in EAMCET govt pays the fee.

College does not offer any scholarship or loan facility. Actually scholarship will be awarded to the students based on their EAMCET score, Caste and other factors by the government of andhra pradesh.

The extracurricular activities conducted in our college are very good. But what is required is interest within you. Our college has AWAAZ,SAC,CCA where you can participate and can show your skills. We have big and good labs with air conditioning. If you are interested in sports you can play after the completion of the college in college ground which is very big.

There is no Hostel facility for boys. But there is a hostel for girls which is inside the college. The infrastructure of the hostel is good outside. I don't the inside details like food, rooms. It is better to read a review of a girl who have experienced it.

To be very frank there is no alumni network in our college. Once in my whole four years of my btech they have arranged an alumni meet. Senior students are helpful(depends). We seldom interact with them and that too outside the college.

Wrote EAMCET which is an entrance exam conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education in Andhra Pradesh. I secured 7530 rank which is enough for an OC student to apply for that college. After that I applied for Bapatla Engineering College through web counseling. Got Admitted.

Like any other college we have a mixture of good teaching and average teaching staff. By average teaching i mean they might have good knowledge but the wat they teach and interact with the students is not up to the mark. Many Teachers are experienced quite experienced. Some teachers are not very experienced after completing their M.Tech they joined in the college. Overall, College has a good teaching faculty.
