Good Pharmacy Education at Nagpur

College has a very nice peaceful environment. Education is also good. Just the location and the building is not that good. Surrounding the college there are big metal industries, plastic, rubber industries which cause lot of pollution.

So during our college day the syllabus adopted by the college was prepared and implemented by Rashtrasant tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur university. Course was divided into 8 semester and the final degree score is calculated on the basis of score of last 4 semesters. Every semester there are 6 subjects for written exam and 5 subjects for practical exams. Now the new syllabus of PCI has been implemented.

Placement here is not up to the mark. Mostly Zim laboratory, unijules life sciences, TCS comes here for hiring students. Placement for B.Pharma is not good. But from M.Pharm point of view, there is 100% placements in respective fields. Student who gets admission here via GPAT score in Masters gets a scholarship of 12,400 p.m. for 2 years by AICTE. Also students belonging to socio-economic backward class gets 50-100% waver on tuition fees.

Compared to the others college in Maharashtra. The fees here is Average. For B.Pharm Yearly fees is 1,00,000 to 1,25,000. And for M.Pharm it's 70,000 to 90,000. This fees is definitely higher than government colleges but for a private institutions it is good.

If you belong to caste other than open then you will get scholarship. For OBC the scholarship is 50% fees is waived off. For SC/ST/VJ/NT there is no tuition fees to be paid everything is being taken care off by Maharashtra government. For Economically backward class students if family income is less than 3.5 lakhs per annum, then he is eligible for 100% fees waiver.

College is very serious not only about education but also for extracurricular activities. During Annual fest, college organises various sports events like cricket, football, badminton, volleyball etc. Also there are events like Fashion show, dance, singing, Science quiz, poster presentations, Debate competition.

No hostel facility of its own. There are several other options for the outsiders. There is one common hostel for LTJSS college students which is on a walkable distance. Also there are many areas near the college who gives rooms on rents. average rent is 3,000-5,000 per month.

Yes, College has a strong alumni network. Every 5 years college organises Alumini meet and helps everyone to connect. It helps young pass out lads to get connected to seniors which might be helpful in boosting someone's career. also college is active on social media.

Basically admission to this college is Carried out by centralized admission system by DTE Maharashtra. On the basis of your MH-CET marks you get the admission. At my time the cut-off score to get admitted here was 95/200 in MH-CET exam.

The faculty here is a blend of Experienced teachers and new teachers with fresh Minds. They are very friendly and easy to approach. Every faculty is competitive here. They help in guiding students to participate in scientific ventures. They also helps you to brush up your skills on pharmaceuticals machineries. College conducts free coaching for the GPAT preparation in Final year.
