Course Curriculum Overview
The course itself is a basic qualification required by a business professional. As of now, I haven't experienced any special activities/programs other than the basic course. The course exams demand long answers to satisfy the examiner, which is sometimes irrelevant. Students are demanded to stretch answers up to 3 pages maximum, to qualify for full or nearly exceptional marks.
Placement Experience
Haven't heard of anything as such, as of now by the seniors. We do have a placement officer, who promised us placements, but, I'm still a junior and not the best person to comment on that.
College Events
At the beginning of the year, we had an orientation program, which basically introduced the students to the college. We were introduced to all the lecturers and the faculty in-charge. Later, we had some environment awareness programs, female security awareness programs, entrepreneurship encouragement programs, and many more programs in the auditorium. Then we had the freshers program too.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total fee structure for a basic BBA qualification is 50,000 Rupees per year for the first year. It is divided into two semesters, 25k per sem. There are no major expenses apart from the actual yearly fees. According to my, it is quite affordable and rewarding for money. The quality of education offered is acceptable.
Fees and Financial Aid
None, the college does not provide any scholarships. The college is a member of the DOST program offered by the Telangana government. Students are required to register with their DOST to able to write their final exams.
Campus Life
These are some sensitive questions. I will get to them one by one. Around the campus, I have noticed that everybody here has already come with their friends, from interstage. All the people in the college have their own groups, whom they know from previous institutions. And, nobody chose to come here. So, a new person would find difficulty in framing friendships and being a part of those groups.
Alumni/Alumna
There are good seniors, intelligent seniors, over smart seniors, hyperactive seniors, and many other types. But honestly, the seniors here are ok. They get along very quickly with the juniors. But some of them are an exception.
Admission
I was seeking admissions in a handful of colleges, from which, in quite a few premium autonomous colleges, I was selected, and in the rest, affiliated to Osmania University, I was rejected, as my percentage was 73%, which is below 85%. At the time, I could not afford to get an admission into the premium autonomous colleges as they were too expensive, or too far from my residence. The last option I had was St. Mary's.
Faculty
The faculty, in my opinion, has good potential and is quite strict and manages to control the students. But, in some areas, they themselves lack the interest to unlock their full potential. As they have gotten used to the wreckless environment of the students. Some students misbehave, and some seniors have this air of being powerful, so powerful, that they threaten the security guard to open the gates of the college.
