My college - St Aloysius College

I have a very positive remark because I really love this college. It has the best green and clean campus I have ever seen in Kerala. Many natural scenic beauties can make everyone to feel refreshed. It is the best place to relax.

I opted for Bcom Finance because it is the only aided course provided by this college in the commerce department. Afterall Bcom finace has more value than other bcom streams. It has a total of 6 semester exams in which each semesters contains 2 internal exams.

There are many placement programmes provided by many banking and insurance companies. Some of the regular placement companies are HDFC, ICICI, SBI, SIB etc. Every year there are several number of candidates are placed in different companies.

There are many events like college day, union day, sports day, arts day, fresher's day etc are celebrated every year. Besides, many other cultural celebrations are also held like onam and Christmas celebrations.

The fee structure depends on the course you select. If it is an aided course the fees are very cheap because there is no semester fees and only exam fees. Some courses like BMMC and other professional courses are a bit expensive but affordable.

There must scholarship programmes. But actually I don't know more about that. The admissions of aided streams are mostly depended on the University allotment process and the college doesn't have any intervening power in that.

There are many extra curricular activities like NCC, NSS, and other clubs to make the students capable of doing as many works as possible. The lab facilities provided by the college are the best and the college library is one of te best among Kerala because it is fully computerised and well arranged. The college has it's own MIS to save the details of all the students.

Basically I'm not a hosteler. There is no college provided hostel facility. But there are many private hostels and homestays near the college. Actually it is more comfortable than college hostels. There are many affordable homestays within 2km radius.

Yes. The opinions and comments of alumini network and senior students are really helpful and more students have a positive response about the institute because it has the whole comtents in a nut shell.

I got admission through merit allotment process held by the calicut University. This enrollment procees is one of the toughest allotment in which it is mainly focused on the marks scored in 12th standard. I had a percentage of 95 in 12th standard. I got this college in the second allotment.

The faculties of the aided courses are well experienced and good enough to make many valuable gems. But the faculties of the self financing courses of this institute are mostly freshers and youngsters.
