The college is good but the main issue is of attendance, so don't argue with any teacher otherwise you may get in trouble. The good thing about the college is that it has a dress code which is a black or maroon t-shirt for B.E. students so you don't have to choose everyday what to wear for college.

Curriculum is excellent. They provide with the practical knowledge that you need in your engineering life. There are a lot of exams that a student has to give including F.A., S.T.,Practicals, Viva and many more.

There are many placements and job opportunity but you have to grab them. The students belonging to the cream layer get many opportunities. So you have to be an exception. Yes, our college provides internship but not all students get them. Many industrial tours are also organised by the college. Internship are good and they range from 5000/month to 30000/month varying according to your abilities.

Many events are organised by the college so that students can have fun along with studies. The main two events are the Rangrezz and Algorithm. Both of them lasts for 2 to 3 days and involve many cultural, technical and fun events. Many games such as treasure hunt and flip bottle and many more are organised here.

As it is a private college the fee structure is expensive but with respect to other private colleges it is moderate. The total degree costs you around 6-7 lakhs if you have not opted for the hostel otherwise it costs you around 10-11 lakhs excluding your own expenditure.

Scholarships are provided to students belonging to lower castes and are residents of Punjab or Himachal. Scholarship is also provided to Kashmiri migrants.Other than that no scholarship or loan facilities are provided by the college.

In Chitkara University, you will get every exposure you need in the field of extracurricular activities and sports. Many cultural and sports events are organised. They also have there sports hall need as Sportstorium in which all indoor and some other games such as table tennis , tennis etc are played. University also have its own basketball, football and cricket ground.

The hostel infrastructure is good, they provide you with many facilities like tv room ,induction,iron, iron stand, oven etc. Food of the mess is good but it varies to someone's taste and no it does not tastes like home food.

Senior students are helpful and caring. There is no ragging policy in college and the seniors respect that. No ragging is done with any fresher in any way. Moreover the seniors help juniors and tell them what societies and clubs to join that will enhance there abilities.

For admission JEE Mains is necessary. The students will be given admission on basis of jee percentile. The student with greater percentile will get admission first. On the first day admissions are open for students belonging to reserved category. Then general category students can take admission.

The faculty is almost good but some of the faculty members are harsh on students. But most of them help students in all possible ways. The main problem is of attendance, you have to complete 75% of attendance otherwise you will be detained.
