They need to work on reducing workload time wise. The class timings are really good but there are too many exams. They should cut short on that and make less number of exams with more important questions.

The course for mechanical is average. It's updated and relevant. We have four assignments, two mid terms and one sem end exam. That's a lot of exams for a semester so it's a little congested. Sometimes we end up with little time.

Placements are okayish for mechanical and good for EC and CS related branches. They don't provide internships. We need to look for ones ourselves. This is one of the more difficult things about studying here. Unless you have contacts, landing a good internship isn't very easy.

There aren't a lot of events. We don't get many holidays either. The clubs are very active so that's a good thing. We have one tech fest and one cultural fest. While the tech fest isn't all that great the cultural fest is pretty good.

Expensive without a doubt. If you aren't on scholarship, I wouldn't say it's worth it. It runs to over 4 lakhs a year if you don't have any scholarship. The good thing is that they provide several scholarships. If you have a fee reduction, then it's worth it.

AICTE scholarship if your parents income is less than six lakhs per annum. It's a good facility as it allows the underprivileged to also be a part of this institute. There are quite a few students in this category.

Labs are up to date and relevant. We have an adept gym, swimming pool. The hostels are also really good. Extracurricular activities are great cause there are a lot of different kinds of clubs here who are into a lot of different things.

Alumni network is helpful. They give us advice related to how to go about getting internships. They also tell us about their experiences working in companies. Seniors are helpful and kind and there's no ragging at all.

There's an MUOET. Based on the score a rank list is published and reviews are held. During orientation and registration branches are decided. Switching of branches is also allowed. You can also give the MUOET multiple times.

Faculty is above average. They have some really good teachers and some really great teachers. While this isn't always the case. There are some really bad teachers as well. Usually teachers who take labs tend to be on the bad side.
