Remarks
Overall, my college is good for academics and extra curricular activities. It is one of the best engineering colleges in the country. It was the first college to start Computer Science and Engineering course in India. It needs some renovation and improvement in infrastructure.
Course Curriculum Overview
According to me, course curriculum is outdated in most of the best engineering colleges across India(including IITs and NITs). In my college, we have mid and end semester examinations each semester along with practical examinations.
Placement Experience
It's good and getting even better year-by-year. Almost all the students of CS/IT department gets placed with fairly good packages. Yes,my college provides internship for which various companies visit the college and select the students for internship. I'm in 2nd year right now and I will be giving my internship exams next year.
College Events
1. Avishkar- It is the Techno-Management event of my college. It includes various events related to every department. Some of them are Robotics events, Coding events,etc. 2. Culrav- It is the Cultural event which includes various cultural activities like music,dance,arts,dramatics,etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Being a government college, fee structure is well balanced and feasible for students coming from different financial states. Hostel and Mess fee is also feasible. Students coming from economically weaker families get various scholarships from the college.
Fees and Financial Aid
College provides various scholarships to students coming from economically weaker families so that they can get proper and quality education. It also provides scholarship to a student according to his/her merit.
Campus Life
College has pitches/grounds for various sports like cricket, football, badminton, tennis, basketball, volleyball,etc. Coaches are available for various sports. Various labs including computing, mechanical, electronics, electrical,etc. are present. Some of them need renovation.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students are very helpful. They help their juniors in various fields including technical and cultural activities. They teach juniors about robotics,aero modelling, competitive coding,etc. Alumni network is quite good. Every year college invites various alumni to give speeches and motivate the students.
Admission
Firstly, I gave the exam JEE Main conducted by CBSE in the year 2018.Then according to its result, I had filled choices of college and the respective branch on the JOSAA website after which I got the admission letter from the college.
Faculty
Quality of the faculty is different for every department. My department's(CSE) faculty is quite good. Some of them are young and talented while others are experienced enough to make the subjects interesting.
