A guide to GGITS, jabalpur

The college is good for a student who wants ro study in the city itself, it does cost much and u complete your engineering in almost 2.5 lacs. In the city it is one of the finest college you can take your admission to. There is no such negative remarks but i really think the curriculum is a little outdated and really needs to be revised.

Course curriculum is fine but i really thing it needs to get updated according to present needs, we are still learning about the machines and systems which existed 10 to 15 years earlier and has no present use.

Placements as per now have been well and good, specially for CS and IT students. Mechanical and Civil have a little less opportunity as much as we are concerned with on-campus drives but overall it's all cool.

The fee structure as compared to other private colleges is quite feasible. Its approximately 65k a year that makes almost 32k per semester. The bus facility is also available at 12k per year. And when you have various scholarships at your hand and TFV it costs as less as 12k per semester.

There are lot of scholarship forms available like if you have a good score in jee mains and in 12th you can avail TFV(tution fee waver) which gives u approx 40k scholarship. If you are in minority section(onc,sc,st). If you are a single girl child. Religious minorities also have benefits.

Cricket, volleyball and basketball are most prevalent here. Various tournaments are organised within the college as well as at inter college level. Labs are working fine, not too advanced and not too old , it has satisfactory working instruments. Extra curricular activities are always on the run, every month we have some or the other event, cultural activities etc.

Since m living in the city itself so i had no use of hostel, but as much of as i have heard, it nearly costs about 5 to 7k. Per month excluding mess, u can avail tiffin services from various vendors.

Alumni of the College is really good, they are really very helpful solves all your doubts. They even help with placement opportunities and guide and prepare students accordingly. They not much interaction with seniors in the 1st year (college rules) of college but as you move higher up in the sems you get to interact and guess what. u find them really helpful, its like they one of your own batchmates.

So the college asked me for my "jee mains" marks, school 12 marksheets and other documents.Since its a private college so its not much of a difficult task to get admission but if you got a good score in jee mains or school boards it certainly gives you an edge over other students to choose your preferred course according to seat availability.

Faculty is really hard-working and one of the best and finest in town. They are totally in support of the students which we don't really see in govt institutes and they always have your back. Conversation is really easy and friendly even if the faculty is of higher post(like HOD).
