One of the best colleges in Andhra. As it is associated with one of the largest district hospital it is helpful in exposure to the cases which can help the students to understand the subject better and gives more clinical knowledge.
Placement Experience
Yes, our college provide internship of duration 1 year. Stipend also will be provided. Placements and job opportunities will be based on what we are intended in doing, masters preparation has been the most chosen path.
College Events
Andhra Pradesh Obstericians and Gynecologists conference recently. Andhra Pradesh physicians conference in the second week of September. Paper presentations and case studies along with lots of new discoveries has been presented in these conferences.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible as this is a government organisation. The facilities provided by government are not so sophisticated and if they try to raise the fees then it won't be nice. And for people who want to stay in residential hostels fees structure is different and different mess bill.
Fees and Financial Aid
As fees structure is very feasible, loan is not required. Scholarships will be provided to the backward caste students and schedule caste and tribe students based on the annual income of their parents.
Campus Life
They are good. But less in number compared to what other colleges experience. There will be a college day, fresher's day, semi Christmas celebration every year and competitions will be conducted for the enthusiastic participants and prizes are given.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels used to be very scary 2 years back. Now they have built new buildings and demolished old buildings and new infrastructure for reading rooms and mess are setup. There is a play ground and a walking track too.
Alumni/Alumna
Yep, they are helpful in manykinds if we know them.Almuni association for our college is GMCANA and they have built an auditorium in the college primises which have been a very great asset to the guntur medical college.
Admission
Wrote EAMCET exam then merit list was given I mean rank order. Then accordingly I got to choose this college in counseling. Then I reported in this college, basic physical examination is done and I was certified as a perfectly healthy cadidate that was it and here I am in my final year.
Faculty
They are qualified, respected and professionals with great knowledge. In clinics we can learn a lot from them and they will be very glad to teach everything we want to know. They treat us like we are doctors and will be easy to talk to if we are in crisis.
