Remarks

Overall it was a nice experience studying in this college studies plus lots of extra activities,friendly faculty,nice people to make friends.

Entrance Preview

This college has no entrance exams thats the plus point. They select students on class 12 board results so you have to be good,cut off is 65 % generally a small Interview is taken thats It.

Internships Opportunities

Its a bachelor degree so no companies approach for campus selection college experience was good altogether. No job recruitment in campus but we will get good job after passing out from college.

Placement Experience

Job opurtunities depends on how we studied our marks and passing out result. No campus recruitment as its a bachelor degree course we can expect job offers with ease as its a reputated college.

College Celebrates Nation Festivals,Taditional Events and also has college Events. National Events coprise of Independence Day,Republic Day,Netaji Birthday. Traditional has Saraswati Puja college has private dancing fests college Students Participate in them.

Fee Structure is feasable and affordale. Around 26000-30000 for first year as well as second year and thirdyear a bit 1000's Extra. Freeship is Available.

Dont about about scholarship or loan facility but college gives freeship to need Ones to over 75 %. Good Students also get prizes.

Senior students are helpful and friendly in nature. Never seen or experienced ragging issue in my college Life here. They Help out in studies,project works and other sort of troubles.

Exam Structure

3 Exams a year mid term examinations,selection Examinations and final examinatons. Mid term examinations are easier with low syllabus and 50 Marks. Selections are bit on a Tougher side.

The faculty is also good. Teachers,lecturers and staff support is friendly and excellent. They are helpful and generous.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me . I applied only for besc and I entered I didn't use quota admission Minimum masks for entry be 65% in best of 4 for evening batch whereas 85% for morning batch (can be changed on the points of performance and talents) there is no age limit for entry The admission process was easy i.e fill out admission form online check name on the admission list released pay the admission fee + yearly fees submission of form in college health check up in college collect your Identification card and you are enrolled in bhawanipur education society college...Read More
