I lived my best years of life in my college. We make everlasting memories during our college life. A strong positive about my college is the extra curricular activities exposure provided. All kinds of talent is appreciated.
Course Curriculum Overview
BCom is a three year course. My field of study was mainly covering accounting and financials. There were semester exams held every 3 months in college which were quite helpful in preparation for year end yearly exams.
Placement Experience
Our college provides with a wide range of placements and job opportunities. Each year campus interviews are held in college where multiple companies come to college to offer jobs to deserving students.
College Events
All the festivals are celebrated in are college. It's also hosts fest's and competitions in various fields to bring out the talent in people other than studies. Our college also organises a fest yearly called by name Umang
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure can be considered as a bit expensive when compared to other bcom colleges of Kolkata. Yearly fees in our college is approx 45000 which is expensive. But the extra curricular facilities makes for the excess fees structure.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college provides scholarship to students who secured more than 90% in best of 5 subjects in class 12 bords. I could not avail scholarship because I secured 89% in best of 5 subjects. I don't have much idea of any loan facility provided.
Campus Life
Extra curricular activities are wide range in our college. Students can get exposure in numerous fields if they desire to. Sports is also considered as an important aspect of life and given the required priority along with studies.
Alumni/Alumna
I am not much involved with any alumni network of the college either online or offline. But we usually get in touch with some of the seniors of the college to offer help whenever asked without much queries.
Admission
I got admission in my college because I fulfilled the cut off percentage requirement. The cut off percentage for morning batch was 75% in Class 12 boards. I got 92% so I got admission. There was no personal interview. Admission is done on the basis of merit list.
Faculty
Our college has a versatile faculty. Teachers are very experienced in their respective fields and quite helpful with everyday lessons. Teachers usually try and a keep a friendly atmosphere around the classroom for better learning.
