An Honest Review

The environment and facilities provided by this college are up to the mark. You can feel a healthy and disciplined vibe on the whole campus. However, this college has some rules and regulations which are too much for the students. There isn't a social friendly independece for students. They are unable to wear half pants on campus. Girls are not allowed to go out after 8 pm and there are strict dress rules for them.

The course curriculum of the college is sufficient enough to make you a good engineer. This college is under Sant Gadge Baba University and this university designed the courses for particular branches which include various aspects. However, all these courses were developed in the year 1983 and they are not revised which is why few subjects are outdated and need to be revised and updated. There is also the scope for additional and advanced subjects.

Placements were not up to the mark till last year. However this year, placements have improved. I feel college can give more quality pre-placement training to students. Internships are provided by the college. My experience was not great during my internship because it didn't include a stipend and the company was in initiating stage.

This college is under Gajanan Maharaj Sansthan which gives it a very spiritual environment. Apart from basic events like Fresher parties and annual technical or cultural festivals there are several religious festivals also celebrated in the college.

The fee structure is quite feasible in comparison to other colleges. There is a particular reservation system which is imposed by the government. However, if you are a student from outside the state of Maharashtra then caste reservation does not apply.

There isn't any scholarship or loan facility provided by the college. However, some funds are provided to the toppers. And a lot of funding is done for projects of students which should be satisfied to college.

Extra curriculum activities are quite basic in the college. Laboratory experiments are not taken with enough seriousness. Faculties do not guide properly to the student. There can be a better focus on practicals. Sports activities and facilities are outstanding in the college.

Yea I have opted for Hostel. Hostel infrastructure is something which is best in this college. Proper hygiene and clearness are maintained on regular basis. And basic facilities are also of great quality.

Every year there is a conduction of Alumni Meeting which6is done on a large scale. This meeting helps students a lot to interact with students. There is also a healthy environment between seniors and junior students.

There is an institution quota of 15% in the college. For this your 12th class Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics marks are submitted and on the basis of these marks, a merit list is prepared. On a particular day, all the registered candidates are called and on the basis of the merit list, they are asked to choose their specific branch.

The faculty of the college is very supportive of the students. They encourage them and do their duty with dull discipline. But faculties are unable to engage the students in their lectures. They use the same old methods of teaching and students find it very uninteresting. There is a huge scope for the betterment of faculties.
