They need a Lot to Improve. Students are treated like herds of sheep. A lot has to be done by the Management to improve infrastructure and Food. But regarding Placements and fee structure the college is Good
Course Curriculum Overview
We have 3 internal exams and one Final End Sem Exam. They take the best of two from Internals for 50 marks and the rest from Semester final exam. It is often highly unpredictable.
Placement Experience
Yes, there are plenty of opportunities for students. The Placements are so good. Almost 80% of students are getting placed anually. All end up in a decent package and are okay with it. Companies keep buzzing up all over the Year.
College Events
There are two important events. The Cultural Fest KS and The Technical Fest Daksh. They are not up to the mark compared to other colleges in South India and has a lot of restrictions. People do have a good time compared to other days in the college
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasibile, but can be improved for better Infrastructure and Food. The fee structure is optimum for an average middle class Indian family. Recently they're expanding and we can expect new Blocks, so the fee may go up
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarship / loan facility is very Good. Top 10% of the students are offered scholarships. This is indeed a Good initiative by Our College. They give Cheques directly to them on their Parents' name.
Campus Life
Many Students Organized extra Curricular activities with No Support from management. Sports not at all supported by the Management. Labs are maintained perfectly. But students are not allowed to use most of the Equipments.
Hostel Facilities
4/10 Hostel is very poor and the food is so bad we end up eating 5-6 times a week. The Bad thing is we can't opt out of Mess. We are forced to take the Mess and we pay a huge amount every month. The Food is not up to the mark
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are very helpful. But once they get out of College i.e Alumni , the contact is not much strong and they don't want themselves to relate to Our College anymore. Other than that, there's a lot of communication between various batches
Admission
Based on Jee Score and then Counseling. They value Merit of the Students. They give a Global rank and then call for Counseling. It is transparent and healthy. They also have an NRI quota that doesn't need any Merit
Faculty
Faculties are not up to the Date. They are bound by the book and are not supportive to students most of the time. Most of them don't have a knowledge of recent trends in Technology and are antique. They're atleast 10 years back lagging to Technology.
