Experience of college life

College management need to take seriously about job satisfaction of student and make students get right job as per their dream.

I opted for this college through tamilnadu Government's Engineering Counselling Process. For this there is no entrance exam is held and you cab directly choose the college through single window system.

The course includes detailed subjects on electrical and electronics sector. It includes theory and practical on subjects like Power electronics,electrical machines,electronic devices and circuits,embedded systems etc.

There is no internship offered by my college and so there is no stipend offered. If you want you can contact industries and go for inplant training. But some industries do require some referral who are working in their company and in some industries they charge fees to take inplant trainings.

Only they try to increase the placed count by calling IT companies to hire the students instead of calling core companies which is offering work as per the course the student has chosen. Most of the students got placed in Accenture (3LPA).

College holds a lot of symposiums based on department (courses). Also college held NSS symposium,sports day,annual day celebrations,IEEE technical symposiums and so on.

Since I got the seat through government counselling process they at first offered me full tuition fee waiver 40K Central Government. But after a year due to state government's awerful strategy they cancelled this scholarship and I have to pay half the amount of tuition fees 20K. For management quota you have to pay a hefty amount as donation and per year you have to pay 50% more than what government quota people around 60K.

I got tuition Fee waiver scholarship 20K and amilnadu government scholarship 5K for BC First Graduates. College will help on their side in taking loans by giving signed fee structure. Loan approval will depend upon how the banks react with you.

What about the activities held on college it is arranged very well but there always some politics in the organising team. The boys and girls are allowed to talk and even sit in same benches if they want. Raging will be taken as a serious offense in my college and even students got suspended due to this.

Rooms are maintained well unless you are going to make it dirty. The cleaning people come once in two days to clean the rooms. Bathrooms are cleaned up once in a day. Many times there will be scarcity of water supply if you get ready very lately. Food is

I don't have much experience with alumini but my seniors were very supportive and friendly. Also they helped us a lot in placement trainings,NSS field trips,symposiums etc.

Since I studied under Anna University, it is not too difficult to attend exams and labs. Also they are not too frequent. But after my batch the college got autonomous position in which I heard that the exams and labs are quite difficult.

My college faculty are doing a great job in nurturing the students through their knowledge. They are very helpful and supportive too. They even help students financially if they don't have money to meet small expenses.
