Life at Amrita

Over all amrita has given me 4 years of life experiences including independence, team work, friendships, leadership, curiosity, culture importance, ethnicity, and what not. It has been a very amazing platform and I can't thank enough for it

Amrita conducts a separate entrance examination in the month of may. they take people upto 6000 rabk easily access all campuses including bengaluru, Coimbatore, and Amritapuri for engineering. I took computers because I did my 11&12 with Cse majors . people with no cse background also study this and can manage. I had option for all engineering courses. I thought Cse is the next future and toook this course. Then comes the counselling, you can choose whichever course you get for your rank. And admission letter will be given right away.

Amrita follows a very good syllabus and changes according to time. It is told that its curriculum is similar to IIT's adn even I feel the same. They are all knowledge and skill based rather than regular syllabus. They make you think beyond and there is necessary support and training for all these.

Amrita always has 100% placements and big shot companies like Microsoft, amazon,flipkart,EY and all mass recruiters like tcs,cts,Infosys,wipro, Ericson come and take people. And offer internship in 8th semester with a average stipend of 10-15k easily.

Placement opportunities is numerous. About 150 companies come for Cse from Microsoft, amazon, Google, flipkart, Cisco,EY,robert Bosch, cerner, Ericson,dell, cts,tcs,wipro,Infosys etc. it always shows a 100% placement. Infact many have multiple offers. Packages vary from 3.5-21 lakh per annum.

Campus is wonderful . green peacful and perfect . everyone who visits the campus definitely do fall for it. It is maintained very well . workers work daiily to ensure cleanliness everywhere. Extra curricular like dance, drama, singung, sports everything is fine importance. Inter amrita events happen a lot.there is no gender or religion or caste discrimination. Everyone is given equal importance and rights and everyone feels good to be a part of Amrita.

Faculty base of the college is very good. They recruit only people with excellent knowledge and PhD degree mostly or pursing PhD. They teach and guide real nice and are supportive always.
