Review of BCAS

The pros are that the college offers only science courses so the crowd is very little, the structure and the vibes are just superb. The staff is good and the grounds are big. The cons are the lack of a sense of collective belonging and rather self-suited environment.

Definitely, it's one the best colleges for pure sciences in India and the curriculum is vast and prudential for the students to prepare and know about the field they are working. The exams are conducted on a semester basis, twice a year.

Wellbeing a pure sciences College, the placement is there but not full proof. There is a small-scale placement from direct college campus but the rest pursue their post graduation ahead and then get ahead.

The college hosted the songs of India, an inter-college du singing competition. The other events are Marathon, fashion show week, and ramp walk. They are sponsored by different firms. Rest sports events are also conducted among all major games.

The fee is quite feasible. It was 12k per annum for the BMS course. The rest of the courses have a fee structure of about 5-10k per annum. And above that, you will be subsided on your cafeteria. And over that, you'll have a scholarship.

The scholarship is provided by the central government and MHRD on the basis of the top percentile getters. The scholarship is given for 5 years( 3 years of graduation and 2 of post-graduation) and a sum of approximately ? 5 lakhs.

Extracurricular activities encompass a whole lot of college time there. Almost all major sports are played and competed against each other. Cricket, football, tennis, basketball, volleyball are among them. The labs are good for use.

The seniors are helpful but you'll have to handle most out of yourself. They are helpful but only to an extent. The network of alumni is also not that strong and extensive. So basically you'll have to help yourself the most.

Based on the marks obtained in the intermediate examination the candidates who have applied are shortlisted first and then a five-step counseling process is done to allot the seats to the students with higher grades.

Well, The name of Delhi University is enough to define any means or the faculty and staff. The faculty is quite a combination of both experienced and innovative professors. Professor Balaram Pani is the principal and others are there.
