Everything is good except the hostel facilities. From this year the college will also get NBA accreditation for all the branches. College infrastructure is peaceful & charming. AC classes are there for students. Huge library is also there with AC.

Engineering courses: Computer, Civil, Electrical, Electronics & communication, Chemical, Mechanical, Instrument & control. Other courses: Law, Management, Architecture, Pharmacy, Science. Exams are divided into three part: Class test(30M), Sessional (40M), Final(100M). The final result includes all three exams' marks.

The placement is always good at the college as Nirma is one of the best state University. Well known companies like Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Directi, Cypress Semiconductor, TCS, Intel, ABB etc comes every year & some other foreign companies are also come. They signed MOU with the college. The internship is only good in CSE branch & the stipend is from 40000 to 75000 per month. In other branches internship is not well but placements are good. Last year in my electrical branch, 100 students get placed from 126 eligible. Average package was 5-6 lakhs annum.

There are many technical & non-technical events in the college. For non-technical events, there are clubs named RCNI, Augon etc. For technical events, there are clubs like EESA, MESA etc. Joining a club is very cheap amount. The events like NU-TECH, NU-ZEAL, Praveg, Vaudeville are held.

The fees are expensive as compare to other colleges. Middle class family hardly afford it. I'm also from middle class family. Planning of money is important. Here, I learn the value & management of money.

The Gujarat students who get more than 80% percentile and whose father income is less than 6 lakh annum are eligible for MYSY scholarship worth 67000 Rs per year (including hostel scholarship). The college provide scholarship of 90000 rs per year for top 25 students. Study loan is also available.

Sport tournaments like cricket, badminton, chess, volleyball are held. College has separate grounds for that. Extra activities like Robocon(making robot competition), E-baha, M-baha(making electrical and mechanical vehicles) are also there. Our college gets 1st prize in these competitions for last 5 years. Practical labs are also there. We can also work on our own projects & use the labs.

Nirma provides hostel facility only the master degree students. No hostel is available for B.Tech students. I'm living in the private hostel just opposite of the college. There are lots of hostels & PGs in nearby area. My hostel's facilities are good except food management. We have to bring cash every day to the hostel canteen to bring the food. We prefer college canteen rather than hostel canteen in dinner also. The college food is the best in the test and quality.

College itself calls the alumni who are at higher position and have a lot of experience. They meet with us & tell us about their efforts & gives us the direction towards our future. We meet all types of alumni from M.tech, PhD, field engineers etc. We remain in contact with them.

Nirma University is located in Gujarat. I'm also Gujarati. 50% of students are taken from the state itself by ACPC process. I also got admission through ACPC(similar as Jossa at Central level). 35% students are from all India. They get admission by JEE ranking. Other 15% are NRIs.

From the oldest faculty to the newest generation faculty all are there. Prof. U.A.Patel is also there in our electrical branch who have written 3 books on electrical engineering and has 47 years of teaching experience. They all are friendly & always ready to help the students on the project work & extra curriculum activities.
