The University is good for courses other than B.tech , especially Pharmacy and Physical education departments are quite famous and has good scope after graduation.For B.tech it's below average and provide less opportunities in terms of internship and placement. College life is not good as it lacks in creating such environment as most of the students are day scholar.

The course curriculum is as usual as other engineering colleges (except IIIT which are focused only in their allied areas).First year is common for all branches, from second year onwards department courses are taught.

There is less scope of placement.All the companies which come for placement offer very less package and few companies come for placement. Even some average private universities have better placement opportunities.

Techfest is celebrated in the month of February. One or the other events are organised by different departments of the university like awareness regarding anything which seems important.Udaan is a magazine published by the students.

Fee structure is very low as compared to the facilities provided. Being a Central University , it's fee is subsidised. University provide various scholarship to on merit or merit cum means. University provide free coaching for government jobs and various competitive exams like UPSC, SSC etc.

Scholarship is provided by university on merit cum means basis. Branch Topper gets Rs 10000, School or department Topper gets Rs 15000 and free meal and hostel fee for blind students and scholarship of 1 lakh who represents India at interna6 level in any sports.

Regarding Extracurricular activities , there is various options available, university has cricket ground , basket ball courts , badminton courts , football ground , Kho Kho court. Labs are decent and new workshop are being constructed.there are various clubs for dance , music, coding etc.

Hostel infrastructure is modern and has amenities required for normal living.There is mess in the hostel. University has 3 Boys hostel and 1 girls hostel. Each hostel has a mess in it. There is TV room , library , badminton court

Seniors are Ok. Alumni of these university are at good place. Many clear GATE exams with outstanding Ranks and other exams like CAT , SSC. University 's pharmacy department is quite famous. There are many departments and respective departments have very strong alumni.

Through Joint seat allocation authority (JoSAA) or Central Seat Allocation Body(CSAB) on the basis of rank in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main.Guru Ghasidas University is a central university so the university has to accept the rules and regulations for admission set by Central Government (MHRD)

The faculty are decent and some faculty are on contract basis so overall quality faculty is ok.some of the part ,students have to learn by their own.Some faculties are good which are experienced. Faculty quality is better than any mere private universities.
