Remarks
Overall college is good for the overall development of an engineering mind with technical education as well as social life and management skills. A separate Carrer development cell makes sure that all the students are capable of event and industry ready for the companies to make it unique from other colleges. Entrepreneurship Cell holds a better place in college which makes acropolis college to know in the city.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum is well maintained and organized, but there are some cons. that come under are like the regularity of topic and schedule of lectures makes the environment for students hectic. Mainly focus on written assignments and lab work, rather than learning-based education.
Placement Experience
Placements are the key feature of this college. Almost all the students willing to go for placements are placed in CS and IT fields. Many companies like TCS, Capgemini, Capitalvia, Zycus, etc visit for placements. Avg package is about 3.2 LPA and the highest package goes about 6+ LPA. There are companies for EC and other branches too but come with lower seats.
College Events
I being the leader for YuvAcro, Entrepreneurship Cell, organized ample events in college and city to represent the college. Acrothon - A marathon for health is conducted along with Acrogiri - fitness games. E-Lead - Entrepreneurship Summit is conducted in college by E-Cell to promote the spirit of entrepreneurship in students. The joy of Giving Week - A week in which we celebrate the joy of giving, let everyone should smile.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees of college are almost consistent for the entire graduation. Fees for 1 year were around 1 lakh including bus fees and miscellaneous. For the rest of the year, it is pretty consistent and about 90k per year including all the other costs and bus facilities. The fees also include Maintenance fees for college development is also included.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have not opted for any scholarships, but college provides all kinds of fee waivers and different kinds of scholarships for students good in academics, sports. Also, the college provides scholarships available by the govt for the students.
Campus Life
College Campus is not that big that with limited spots to hang out. But the presence of the canteen and cafe make it good enough to chill out for some time. Food is average. Entrepreneurship Cell is one of the best things in college and conducts events that are the level of any IIT/IIM to enhance the entrepreneurship skills in students. The gender ratio is good in college. College performs various extracurricular activities.
Alumni/Alumna
The college has a separate alumni cell that helps us to be in contact with alumni. We are well connected with our seniors and they are really helpful whenever needed. Every year Alumni meet is help us to be in contact with Alumni of the college. We share a great bond with our alums, they are the most helpful people I know.
Admission
Well, I got admission to the college for the electronics field as I have to go for robotics as my career field. Admission in college was a proper procedure to follow and well guided by Prashant Sir. The admission had a quick process and they need all document photocopies for the record.
Faculty
Faculties are good with appropriate qualifications. Faculties are quite experienced and well aware of the recent concepts. All are punctual and knowledgeable, but some are average with their teaching skills, which makes the interest of students down. Faculties rather take interest in teaching instead of assignments.
