Awesome college, terrible senior management

The infrastructure of the college is very good, there is a big food court and a good variety of food option is available for hostlers and day scholars. Other than this, placement is very good at this college. They will try to place every student.

there are some 5-6 subjects every semester. there will be three sessional exams and then final exams. Best of two are counted for result from three sessional which is good thing. students get chance to score well.

yes, chitkara provides 6 months and 1 year internships. around 200 companies come to placements. college tries to place each and every student. stipend varies from company to company. it varies from 15k to 30k per month.

National theatre fest was organized and lot of teams from outside college also had participated. it will be a 2 days fest and there will be lot of events by college students. at the end, there will be DJ night and good singers and bands are called for that.

The fee structure is expensive for engineering students and its increasing year by year. academic fees and hostel fee is very high and its semester wise. they will ask for security fee also at the time of joining.

university gives student loan for those who want to avail. and also they conduct an exam, on the basis of which, they give the scholarship for the students. this college is helping students to go outside India also for studying.

Chitkara University organizes fest twice a year and they organize lot of small events throughout the year. there are so many clubs and societies which students only are handling. students get a lot of extra opportunities being the part of the club.

I opted for the hostel and stayed there for 3 years. infrastructure is good and they are providing a lot of facilities like induction on each floor, laundry, and fridge also. But, outside food is not allowed in the hostel. After 9 pm, no one can go out of the hostel.

yes, senior students are very helpful. there is no ragging in this college. seniors use to help during academics and placement as well. seniors give a correct review for the companies for which they also appeared.

I got the admission on the basis of Mains exams and 12th result. student should have above 60% in 12th to get the admission. if a student has above 60% in 12th then the student will easily get the admission.

Faculty use to get different subject to teach every semester. They learn side and side daily and then teach students. Some teachers are very good in teaching. Faculty supports students in exams and placements as well because they are also learning here, they understands students problems. Management or deans are not good. they are not understanding. They don't even talk properly with students. Sometimes they don't allow some students to sit in placement for no reason. There ego is very big in front of students career.
