Remarks
Overall it is a good college but in my opinion the syllabus is little old. The environment of college is good. There is no ragging in our college. Teaching staff is supportive. Infrastructure is nice.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good but sometimes I feel like the syllabus is little old. As technology is growing faster the syllabus should by according to that. There are 6 month semesters. Total 8 semesters are there. In each semester there are 2 mid term exams, 1 internal practical exam , 1 external practical exam and 1 final exam.
Placement Experience
The placements and job opportunities are very good at our college. The college is concerned about placement of each and every student. As I am in 4 year, we are having placement drives almost every day.College is bringing companies that provide wide variety of roles. There are specific companies for students that are having backlogs.
College Events
There are many events celebrated in our college. The main event is Renaissance. This is a social and cultural event that happen in march every year. A day before Renaissance, there is a event called Zarurat that is organized by social group of college with same name. There is Blood Donation camp every year in october. College also organize many hackathons.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee in colleges run by Rajasthan Technical University is same for all colleges. As compared to many other colleges and universities our college fees is very reasonable. We have to pay 77000 a year.
Fees and Financial Aid
College is giving scholarship to students. To avail the scholarship the students have to submit the fee of next semester before the starting of that semester. This scholarship is available of both, the college fee and hostel fee.
Campus Life
Yes there are many extra curricular activites that happen throughout the year. There is a annual sports event called Athalon. In this event many kinds sports competitions are organized. There are workshops on new technologies. College also organize inter and intra level hackathons.
Hostel Facilities
Yes I live in hostel. The hostel is having great facilities. There are only single seater rooms. This is very good for privacy and concentration. Both ac and non ac rooms are available. Food is medium in taste. Bathrooms are good. The cleaning staff keeps them clean.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students are very helpful. They guide us whenever we need. Alumni network of our college is very strong. Alumni of our college are scattered all around the world. The alumni association of our college regularly organize alumni meets.
Admission
I got admission in 2016 by my JEE Main marks. This college is affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University. There was a process called REAP that is the official process of getting admission in any RTU college. I filled the form. I selected my list of prefered colleges. In first round I got selected in some other college but I applied for second round. In second round I got selected in JECRC.
Faculty
The faculty is good and supportive. The faculty is well educated and qualified. Most of the faculty are have M. Tech. degree. Many faculties are having 10+ years of experience in teaching in engineering colleges. The faculty will do anything for the betterment of students.
