Remarks
For the pros, the campus was very spacious, had a good parking area, faculties were helpful. But for the cons, our department skipped 2 industrial visits for which we paid ?2500 each and for getting the deposit of ?9000 back we have to wait for a year after we graduate.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course had 6 semesters in total. Each semester had 4-6 subjects which we were supposed to give examination at the end of the semester. For the last 2 semesters we had to work on a project which would addon to the marksheet.
Placement Experience
Unfortunately our college was not able to arrange proper placement opportunity. We had only one interview fixed but the job was related to graphics designing and we expected a app/web development job.
College Events
Every March our college organises an event which includes dance, singing, drama, acts and much more things. They also held an event called 'techshore' which had field related competitions in which i received 2 gold medals
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible as you have to pay ?20,000 per semester. They ask for a deposit fee of ?9000 before joining which you can't get unless you complete the course. Also if someone is from a financially weak family can apply for tution fee waiver scheme.
Fees and Financial Aid
If we apply from the authorised ACPDC website as i mentioned before, we can apply for tution fee waiver scheme which will provide you full scholarship. However, only top 5% of the applicants (according to merit list) will receive scholarship.
Campus Life
Each Friday and Saturday we have hobby periods in which we can do sports activities like playing cricket, football, kabbadi, etc. However they only have 1 ground in their campus the place we get to play is small. We do have a chemistry lab, 1 workshop and 3 computer labs.
Alumni/Alumna
Unfortunately, our seniors didn't help us much. Each one of them was busy with their own studies. And our college didn't had any method to provide us student specific network. So to increase our contacts we had to talk to other students face to face
Admission
First of all we had to register on ACPDC website using our 10th marksheet from which total marks of maths, science and english create our merit. After registration, a merit list was revealed using which we can determine if we can apply for a college or not.
Faculty
For the first 2 semesters we had subjects like maths and English so the teachers were from the general department and weren't able to focus on each and every student. Otherwise faculties from computer department were very helpful.
