Honest engineering college review

If I see my carrer at this point I will give negative remarks to the college for hostel, fees, curriculum etc. But I heard lots of good thing from my juniors. So for the future students of the college carrer might be bright.

In my time curriculum are outdated and truly boring. I spent whole first year into getting knowledge of every engineering branch which are running in my college. Our main course which is computer science starts from third year. With old generation technologies. We are not excited about new ideas. What is going in technical world. Just last night study and clearing the exam.but i heard from my junior that the curriculum are changed. Whichever technologies i learnt i my fifth semester they are learning it in first semester. So for them i hope future will be bright.

I can say placements are good. Placement officer works hard to attract the company at our campus. And in computer - it branch 80 to 90 percent students got plcement but problem is that they are doing this for their business growth. To write in the brochure 100 percent placement. In reality some of the companies are very small and hired kind fresher with less packages and forces them to do tons of work. As a fresher he will try his hundred percent but there is no job security so this type of company comes as hiring process.

Events are well organised by the students. Convergence events, youth festival events, science day events, quizz competitions, seminars and workshops are well organised now a days. But sometimes they provide funding very less which is not suitable for attract the audience towards the event.

Fees are too expensive for middle class family and poor people. Infact poor people can't think to get admission by paying 1 lak fees per year. And for middle class families it is also difficult to arrange the fees on time. If they can't pay the pays on time they fine the students 100 rs. Per day after the deadline. And sometimes because of late fees they don't allow the students to sit in exams. So for engineering 100000 + fees is expensive for middle class families I believe.

Scholarships are available for the top three performers in the class and for low last people govt. Provides the fees facelities. Otherwise for normal students i don't think they are provides any facelities so don't take admission if you have not good family condition for paying the university fees.

In our college sports week is celebrated every year and at that time sports like kabbadi, cricket, chess, volley ball, tennis etc sports are playing at inter college level. Other than that there is cricket ground and tennis court for the higher level students in terms of money. Lab work is nice. All the computers are provides Morden standard hardware so it is good. And extracurricular activities are also good.

This the worst thing i am going to share. Hostel infrastructure are good but in the rooms of 3 students they fits 4 or 5 students in a. Single room. Fans are not working properly and for non ac rooms it is very hard to stay in summer. And worst thing in entire campus is hostel food facilities. I can't think the quality standards in my dream. Otherwise for leaving purposes it is average.

There are alumni network portal of our college where alumni of our college which are currently at whatever place they are all connected in the portal. Some alumni also post the job opportunities for students. And it is very helpful to the students if some students want to go for masters in foreign countries. So alumni network and our senior students are too good. Because of them only we can get the idea of clearing the concept what should you do in career, in studies whatever it is.

I got selected in merit list but unfortunately i forgot to accept the confirmation of college. So i tried to get admission in vacant seats and easily got the admission. I don't know how. But i got the admission without any review on my 12th result.

Boring faculties almost all except two or three. They came nd just open the ppts in projector and almost whole class gets their priceless sleep at that time:( Most of faculties are new comers and they believe we are advanced in 7 semester but actually we are not. Our base is not clear. How the real it company works. Nd how this study will help us to achieve the role in company.
