My honest views about the college

One positive thing is that campus is green with a lot of trees and it's a good thing to have. Placements need to be improved. Internships should be provided for students. Overall experience is just satisfactory.

The course is of 4 years duration. First year subjects and syllabi are common to all branches. Students enter their branch in the 2nd year. The curriculum for us is not so updated but for our juniors and the next coming batches, the curriculum has been revised and has been updated by including latest technologies in use. Exam structure: Students are allowed to write 2 internals in a semester, each of 25 marks. In order to get eligibility for final semester end exam(SEE), one must get atleast 20 marks out of 50 from the internals. SEE will be for 100 marks. Final grade will be given by considering marks scored in internals, assignment and SEE.

Internships are not offered from the side of college, but you can do internships outside on your own and college gives permission for it. The placements are not so good. Every year mass recruiters take students and only a countable number of core companies come for placements.

You can expect more from our college regarding fests and events. Every semester cultural and technical fests will be organized in which everyone can take part. Apart from this branch fests will also be organized.

If you get aided seat it's feasible. If not then it may be a it expensive, around 75k per year. If students get admission through management quota, it will be more expensive. That will be around 2 lakhs per year.

Karepass from the government of Karnataka can be availed if eligible. Almost any scholarship can be availed but needs to be approved by the college. But one cannot get multiple scholarships. Loans are also offered for students who wish to avail.

Labs are good but can be a lot more better. Some equipments seriously need replacements. Separate building called 'sports complex ' is maintained solely for sports which includes gym, badminton court, TT, carrom. Open ground is also there.

Alumni meetings will be organized every year and you can actually get help from them. Seniors would help regarding academics, scholarships or any other stuffs. You can actually get necessary help from them.

After 12th Class, I took KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) in which I got a valid ranking. Based on my rank and my choice of colleges I had made online during seat allotment process, I got admission in this college.

Some faculty teach very good whereas some others' teaching is not satisfactory. There are few senior and experienced professors in our branch (also in all the branches) from whom we can get all required knowledge.
