Labs lack modern equipment. The equipment is old and rugged. But still, it works fine. The best thing is at the lab there is no final exam but a Viva is taken. The sports culture is fine. Usually, the students from sports quota are into sports. Many Inter-University championships are played. We have a team of American football. For other extracurricular activities, there are clubs organized by seniors.

The course curriculum is quite good. The unnecessary subjects are not included in the curriculum. Also, the exam pattern is easy. We have two class tests of 30 marks each which is averaged and semester exam of 100 marks which is scaled to 70 marks and combined with class test marks. For the laboratory, there are marks for every attendance and cumulative performance. Instead of the final exam, a Viva is taken.

The placement opportunities are quite good. Almost every student gets at least one offer. Yes, the college provides internships for students in the third year. The stipend depends on the company one gets the chance to work with.

We have our cultural fest, Sanskriti, a nine-day long fest organized at the main campus. Srijan, a tech-fest, is organized at the salt lake campus. The events have amazing prizes and is open for all. No participation fee is to promote maximum participation.

High fee structure they make, it's feasible for a normal people but good facilities are they provide for as good workshop materials, and machinery, good facilities, and also they provide good quality hostel. The fee structure is a little bit expensive, especially the hostel fees. The fees have to be paid yearly. The fee for the first year was 96000 and after that 75000 per year.

There are many good scholarships available especially for students from tuition fees wavier and another category. But for general students no such scholarships is available. The forms for such scholarships are declared on the official website of the University.

We have a strong alumni network which helps us greatly in placements. The seniors are very helpful. They organize various events and workshops in clubs. The communication is lacking, but if efforts are made by Juniors the help is guaranteed.

The admission process is quite simple. You need to apply for WBJEE's online counseling. Once you get the seat in any branch of your choice, you need to report to University to submit the documents finally.

The faculty is quite knowledgeable and easy to approach. There is an understanding and respect for teacher-student relationships. You can your doubts anytime and they would clear the doubts. Also, they provide a chance to work with them on various topics apart from the course curriculum.
