Remarks

Since their are not space provided in the expenses column, I am writing over here. The above expenses are inclusive of hostel and fooding also. This college is quite an ideal place for a middle class students or who just want graduation degree. This college is quite good for girls This college is quite reputated in the city also after St. Xavier's and Goenka.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Till 2015-16 course curriculum are not well structured but now under the new objective type pattern the course curriculum are now we'll structured except in B.Com SEM V where there are three (3) practical papers whereas in semester VI only one (1) practical papers are there.Accirding to my opinion as a student there should be 2 practical papers each in semester V and VI for a good balances of the subjects for the students and to score well.

Placement Experience

1.5

College don't have any internship type of facility as there is no compulsory requirements of internship in B.Com as those of BBA and all. However they provide good placement opportunities. College will only arrange the campus interview and rest are with the students.

College Events

4.5

Almost all types of events and programs are celebrated in teh college. Some of them are celebrated in some big banquet s also. Some of them are given below - Freshers party for the new comments. All national events & programs (15th Aug-26jan - 02 Nd Oct). Ravindra Jayanti etc endless list. However students are not need to attend every events. It depends upon their own will.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Being a Government college the fees structure is very nominal and feasible. The fees structures depends on the course you are pursuing. The fees for B.Com (H) students are likely to varies between Rs. 85-100 per months. Subjecct to an additional amount of 5000-6000 at the time of admission and 250-400 at the of universities registrations.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since the fees structure is quite decent.I don't required any such facilities but if some one wants there is a provision in our college anyone who is in need can write an application to the principal of ten college and can avail the same. However it sounda very easy process but not so.

Campus Life

2.5

Our college is very good in these. however the sports room are not very well developed. In the name of sports room only there is single room with 2-3 caroms board with the useless gangs of boys in the day and evening sections followed by girls in the Morning sections.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are helpful only to show their supremacy over the juniors. They are not helpful in.real terms with due exceptions. however if don't attend colleges regularly.in contact with then is quite a good advantages.

Admission

By filling up the online forms issued by the college on their websites and after 2-3 days by showing original certificates at the college campus. However some union members of the college claims that they can admit any students even without having the requisites marks. Though their claims are totally baseless with the exceptions of few.

Faculty

1

They do not care much about the students, specially the senior most faculties.whether the students may lost their years or not.Unnecesaary harassment for the projects works and all. However, some them are really good. Due to large number of students in a single sections, Good faculties are helpless to control the students while rest of the faculties don't care what the students are doing.

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course the b.com because I want to become the CA but after completing the graduation my family condition was not very good so I quit my studies and searching for the job. My dream was after B.com then I complete M.com then CA but I couldn't do that. I'm pursuing because I'm interested in understanding how businesses work and want a solid foundation in commerce and finance. It opens up various career paths in accounting, finance, management, and more. Plus, it's a versatile degree that can lead to professional certifications like CA, CS, or MBA.
