Satyam Kumar's Review On Banaras Hindu University - [BHU], Varanasi

The positive remark about the college is that it is very good in budget for the poor students to take such a quality education in India's 6th Rank university. And if I talk about the negative remark the University administration is not good they don't provide a safe and peaceful environment for their students. There is also encroachment from outsider which Banaras Hindu University's administration should consider.

The course curriculum was good. The teachers are very kind and helping. The syllabus which they have set is very helpful for further courses or competitive exams. If I talk about the exam structure, the exam is basically taken by semester system(2 times in a year). In every paper 30 marks is for class test, presentation and assignment, and 70 marks comes from final exams after both exams you get a cumulative marks that makes your grade where 'S' is highest and 'F' is lowest(that is fail).

The placement and job opportunities in our college very good. Every year many companies come from different places. Basically in my faculty mostly the job opportunity is available for the foreign language students. In our last year of course we all get opportunity to take part to get a job. Where we have to only take part in the interview where they( the interview panel of companies) ask some questions and try to measure our speaking skill. The average package which my friends got was 4lakh-5lakh annually.

The event celebration is held on both the level on faculty level and the University level. First of all the event organizer on the faculty level after it the winners from every faculty select for the University level where the final winners is announced. Apart from this the fresher party, farewell party is organized by hostel or faculty students from their self. There is a lot of cultural events like Saraswati puja, Krishna janmnasthi also celebrated.

The fee structure was too low we all had to pay only 1981 in first semester and 324 in second semester. But the fee varied in every course. In the University campus there was a fee counter for the payments of every purposes where we all payed our payment.

I don't know any kind of scholarship or loan facility which Banaras Hindu University provide. But there was a scholarship for the Uttar Pradesh students which was provided by Uttar Pradesh government.

There were a lot of facilities like these. In every faculty ,every hostel these facilities were available. If I talk about library apart from the central library of university there were libraries at the faculty level, department level and in every hostel. The sports facilities was also like this. The quality and the maintenance of all this is very good.

The alumni network and the senior students are very good. They always be in touch with us. They are very helpful. They motivate us everytime. If I'm or any junior student is in the dilemma of the carrier they always give the best suggestions on the basis of their experiences.

First of all I applied then I got an entrance exam date and venue. Then after it I went Varansi which is my entrance exam center to take part in the entrance exam. After participating in entrance exam I came back to home. After 40-50 days the exam result announced and I got a call later from Banaras Hindu University for the counseling. After counseling I got one of my opted subject combination that was "GEO-HIN-AIHC". After the allocation of subject the payment option link was available to my portal and after payment I got an confirmation mail that I have got successfully admission in the college.

The faculty is very kind and helping. Everytime they were available for clearing our doubts. There is no shortage of teachers there. All the teachers are quite knowledgeable and experienced too. Apart from the regular teachers there is researchers For our help.
