My college

Provid with everything a student needs. Including acadamical as well as other personal problems. The ambiance there is different as the college is situated in the lap of western ghuts.

As it's a integrated course the curriculum seemed a bit different as well as difficult. But the teachers managed to teach the basics once more to lay a strong foundation. Exams were made easy, that is the entire mark was divided to 60:40 ratio. Which means as internal we had to score 60 marks which included the seminars and other extra curricular activities also and for the final semester exam 40 marks had to me scored. Which was actually much easier task. However for each exam conducted you have to score 50% to make a pass.

All the placement came to us was it jobs and personally I am very dissatisfied for that. Not a single core industry came to us. May be because we were the first batch. This was the main disappointment we faced there.

Onam, Christmas, Ugadhi, Pongal, Holi, Sri Krishna jayanthi. All various festivals (of different state as well as religion) vere celebrated with fun simultaneously tried to convey the message along with each different festival. Students were allowed freedom to take initiatives to make each event a grand success. Various tech fests also was coordinated by students under different facultys.

Obviously expensive. The facility students are getting is not comparable. In each section like from the class room to the lab with full fledged equipments along with extra ordinary faculties. The hostel rooms, mess food, the house keeping, the cleanliness the provide and obviously the security and medical assistants. Even luxury things like gym and international style swimming pool are provided.

Not many scholarships were provided. But we got an opportunity to get a student exchange program (only for students scored 90% nd above). Loan facility was not provided by the college. But they provided support for various government exams by which we can get financial help or an opportunity to upgrade to IIT or IISC.

Many extracurricular activities including academic and athletic and even other was held. The management provided many sports events which not only made many athletics but also was a stress buster for some. All the labs were full-fledged with good teachers as well as lab assistants.

For each year students there are different hostels to avoid ragging and other unusual things. Rooms are big inough. They provide an option that you can choose the room either four sharing or two sharing (not for the first year students). Rooms were equipped with all facilities table,chair and a cupboard for each person washing facilities were provided outside the stay. The neetness was one of the outstanding feature I found there (even the bathrooms were that clean).

The college have a good alumni net work. Each of the students Passing out is provided with a alumini card with which they can come back any time by which they also provide free stay. Senior students when they gets to a good position in some companies help the college in placements and other activities.

Application had to be submitted online which included a nominal fee. After I was shortlisted they called me for an interview held at the University campus (Coimbatore). The process was simple and there were many people including the security officers to guide me from the entrance. Reaching the office, as this was the first batch teachers including the HOD was present in the interview panel. After a quite waiting my name was called and I went in with a bit fear. But the interview went well with simple as well as technical questions. The teachers were found very supportive and caring. Somehow I was shortlisted and they made me to go to the accounts section to pay the fees.

Very supportive, helpful as well as caring. Each one of the faculty was surprisingly taking the class in very different simple and effective way. As they have years of experience they never failed to convey the information even without using a text book.
