Excellent college for engineering students

Overall the college has a positive impact on the students. It provides you with all great opportunities but it depends on you how you grab it. I would like to give a negative remark to this college's canteen. Food really needs to improve.

Course is really upto the mark. As being a computer science student i must say that the faculties are very attentive to keep students upto the mark. They have introduced python at lower level to keep the students faster in race. The exam structure is very well defined. They ask you questions whuch they teach while for some questions your brain really needs to work. If you fail to pass in the first attempy they give you another 2 chances to clear it. If again you fail you need to clear a backlog in that subject. For this also there are 2 attempts. If you fail again you get an year back. There are 2 internals followed by a sem end exam in each semester.

Placements are very nice. Like for moderate students its like a dream come true. I got selected for accenture with a package of 4.5 and in Mercedes Benz research and development with a package of 6.2. Interships are also good. Companies which came for placements were also providing interships for juniors with a stipend of 20000 and above. Overall there are tons of opportunities present.

Various events like annual college fest like PESCO. In pesco sports competition, dance competition, singing contests etc take place. DA or debate competition. And avighnan celebrations. There are several ieee contests and hackathon and several state level football and cricket competition.

This college is semi government aided. So fees is relatively lesser than other college which come under comedk. Its feasible for not so rich people like us. They even provide scholarships for local people of Karnataka.

Since i came from a different state i can't claim the scholarship the local people get here. The children of farmers are provided with scholarships of 18000 every year. Since they come from cet exams there fees is also low. You avail an education loan of yout own bit i didn't take any loan.

In extracurricular activities there are several clubs which organise different event. There are sports clubs in which you can play at state level and more. Labs are upto date. The equipments are very precise.

Yes I'm from jharkhand so I stay in hostel. The infrastructure is nice. Every time some new construction goes on to improve the infrastructure. But it's not disturbing. The facilites are awesome. Like 24*7 water supply. They also provide hot water regularly. Electricity is not an issue. They have generator.

Yes, one of our alumni works in cisco. Other in vmware etc etc. So during our industrial visit we got a chance to visit those companies. They are very helpful. Sometimes they come and also guide us and conduct several workshops.

I gave COMED-K. I got a rank of 27k. I attended the councilling process in banglore. In the first concilling I could not secure a seat but in the second chance I luckily got a seat for computer science in this college.

They are really supportive and help you apply your brain rather than mugging up a topic. They help you in your projects. Moreover they analyse you in every class. If they feel you are not able to keep up with the crowd they are ready to give you extra classes.
