Remarks
Nice college the infrastructure of the college is good. Compared to NIT Trichy, it's equal in infrastructure. Compared to all colleges over Tamil Nadu, infrastructure is good. There are many individual labs for individual branches. The quality of the food served in the hostel is good. There are many canteens. One hospital is there on our campus for an emergency. Sports facilities are good for teachers as well as staff members.
Course Curriculum Overview
Nice curriculum which has a lot of scope for the students to be a part of the research and have a practical knowledge. Its very flexible and and course can be choosen by students by CBCS. This enable students to choose what they want.
Placement Experience
Approximately 90% of the students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 28 LPA, and it was by Amazon and other companies. The lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Wipro, TCS, Amazon, are some top recruiting companies. Placements were held in a peaceful way. placement cell of the conducting such training and skill programmes that are equipping the students with industrial knowledge and working attitude. The cell provides the job placement to the students.Yes college provide internship.
College Events
The fests like kuruksastra, daksh, colosume witnesses several competitions being organised by various clubs ranging from dumb charades and mono acting to dance and arts. Attended by over 1000 participants from more than 80 colleges over India, the fests had much to offer to the eager participants.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's feasible and Hostel fee is separate.The course fee for B.Tech in SASTRA University is INR 130,000 per annum. The fee structure for b.tec including hostel INR 140,000 per annum. MBA course fee is INR 120,000 per annum.

Education loan can be availed and college also provide scholarship to some students.Bank is to offer quicker and timely education loan assistance to study at SASTRA University. All students admitted to any UG/PG/ Ph.D. degree can avail this support.
Campus Life
Sastra provides a campus enabled with Wi-Fi but only can access through laptops. Classrooms are somewhat old and give you a feel of the school. The hostel is superb. The mess is below average. The medical facility is available 24x7. There is also an old gym.

Yes, they give suggestions.Aluminis are very helpful in giving guidance and helps in giving internship and other job related information. They are helpful in showing direction to the juniors. They have concern over sastra students.
Admission
B.Tech admission to sastra will be made on the basis of the two streams where in stream 1 consideration will be on the basis of JEE Main marks along with the 10+2 marks while in stream 2 only 10+2 or equivalent marks will be considered.
Faculty
Very good faculty for teaching, research, hostel management, good environment Very pro-active staff and teachers encourage students to do research and other competitive exams like GATE, UPSC, TPPSC, bank exams also. All the teachers in our college are PhD holders. They are very helpful as well as very strict. While they are teaching, they don't want any distribution. All internal marks are given by teachers, so the students will sit disciplined while they are teaching. The course curriculum is relevant. Software field is incomplete without ECE.
