This college is the best for IT & CS departments as they have so many offers and choices to make, rest of the department also have a chance to get placed in these companies, as there is a way that they can learn what the CS & IT departments are learning.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course are selected based on the credit points, in this college the students can select any course from the provided list of courses. Since my college is an Autonomous institution the exams conducted here are quite earlier than other institutions and the question structure is also simpler but competitive.
Placement Experience
The placements and job opportunities in this college is soo good, the only thing is that CS & IT related companies are conducting placements in this college, rest of the department students were also had to attend these companies if they had need a job from those companies.
College Events
Dhurva - This event is celebrated every year by all the departments combined together, This event is conducted for 3 days, This event covers various technical and non technical events conducted by the students of each departments. Ride - a national level mini bike fabrication and racing event, this event has been conducted for 6 consecutive years, the test track is prepared by the students of Automobile department.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible for all the students, students from counseling have concessions in fee structure, and students with first graduation certificate gets more concession in the fee structure.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are more scholarships offered by my college, Scholarships for Counseling students. Scholarships for First Graduate students. Scholarships for Sc/St communities. Scholarships for students from farming families and more.
Campus Life
The Labs here are quite simple and Extra curriculum is also not that good to be frank technical clubs are initiated only from past 4 months, when it comes to sports this college has proven its place so many times many sports events are conducted by this institutions like marathons, Kabadi league, Football league etc.
Hostel Facilities
No, I have not opted for hostel but i do know something about the infrastructure and facilities provided there as my friends discussed with me. The infrastructure of the Hostel is pretty good 5 to 6 persons per room and all the basic needs are fulfilled by the authorities.
Alumni/Alumna
Yeah, last alumini meet was conducted on 05 - 10 - 2019. The meet was soo helpful the seniors of each departments shared their experiences from college days and post college days. They even trained and motivated many students to get placed in recognised corporations.
Admission
I am a Diploma graduate, so i need to attend the B.E. Lateral entry counseling to get admission based on my merit. At first it was too difficult to select a college that suits me more over a college that i will fit in. By browsing so many colleges i finally found out this Karpagam College of Engineering, the college is located at a rural area but not far from the city. The placement in this college is too good.
Faculty
The faculties here are most helpful with any querys raised, the faculties in my department are the most talented ones i have seen so far out of 5 faculties 3 of them are PhD holders rest are pursuing their PhDs.
