Remarks
As I am a fourth year student here so by my experience I wouldn’t suggest this college to a student who has a chance of going to a nice reputed private college in jaipur or somewhere. But for the students who can’t afford such colleges, they will be alright here. Just that they will have to work hard on their own to achieve something here.
Course Curriculum Overview
All the course curriculums and exams are conducted by the Rajasthan Technical University. They plan everything and my college has to obey or organise everything according to their wish. As our college comes under that university.
Placement Experience
Our college has a different cell for Training and placement purposes. They do not provide any training in the college itself but do help the students in getting one outside the college. As the placement drives are going on right now in our college so yeah, they do provide placement to deserving candidates with good academic record.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure here is not that expensive. I mean it costs around 30k for a self financed seat and around 16k for a government seat. So for a deserving candidate with nice academic record, there must not be too much problem. So yeah it is feasible.
Fees and Financial Aid
I really have no idea of this type of scholarship as most of the students are not availed such facility. This I know that there is no loan facility. But for SC/ST category there is a scholarship provided by the government.
Campus Life
The labs are kind of not upto the level of a engineering college here. As most of them have required items missing and regarding sports, there is a annual sports event(COMBAT) that is conducted by college, other than that nothing. Students have to manage on their own.
Hostel Facilities
No, I didn’t opt for Hostel as there is no hostel in our college. There is no facility whatsoever for staying in the college premises. This year a girls hostel did open but only for Backward category related girls.
Alumni/Alumna
Till this year, there was no alumni network of our college but from this year onwards our college has started to conduct get togethers for alumni of our college. So l have to wait and watch if that will be helpful.
Admission
Through my JEE MAINS scorecard. Students have to first apply through REAP. Than fill their preferences in order. I mean they have to select the colleges under RTU in their preferred order. Than students are shortlisted through their JEE MAINS score. I got AJMER college on basis of that process.
Faculty
Most of the college faculty belong to Ajmer and they are well qualified personals with really good academic history. Some of them have done their degrees from famous IITs. They are well qualified to teach in this college.
