Remarks
The college is great overall. The college provides ample opportunities for students to pursue any hobbies or extra curricular activities they may be interested in. In the month of February department wise fests are held which let the students to showcase their talants.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is great. The semester starts in the last week of july. Around September end or starting of October MST's are held. Then practicals start in November and whole December goes in exams.
Placement Experience
The college does not provide any type of internship opportunities but there are some opportunities if a student is interested in working after he/she completes his/her degree. A job fair is held and Various companies come for recruiting the students of the College.The packages are not very high.
College Events
There are various events held in the college. When the student joins the college after some weeks auditions are held and a student may showcase his/her talants. The selected students participate in the inter college youth fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very feasible. The fee for BSc is around 25k per annum. For other courses also the fee is feasible and not very expensive. The student has to pay the fee on an yearly basis. The fee has to be paid online.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is pretty affordable so the College does not provide any load facility. Scholarships are available for deserving students and consession in fee is provided to students winning inter college competitions
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are really greats. The labs of the science and computer science department are well equipped. The college has digital library too with well equipped Computer systems that the students may use during colllege hours.
Alumni/Alumna
I don't know about the alumni network but the senior students are really really helpful. As soon as you enter the colllege the seniors will be available to you for any kind of help due to the upcoming student council elections.
Admission
For taking in admission in any of the colleges under PU in Chandigarh, the student needs to fill a common form at the website of Department Of Higher Education Chandigarh. After successfully filling the form after some days the merit list for each course is realeased individually. After that the student needs to fill his/her preference of college on the website. After that a list of allotted Colleges is released.
Faculty
The faculty is helpful and most of the teachers are highly qualified.I am pursuing BSc and the teachers are really helpful they will clear any doubts anybody has. The classes are held regularly and the timetable is also very great as equal importance is given to all major subjects.
