Remarks
There are many positive remarks as it's government college so fees structure is very feasible, there are excellent faculty members but less in numbers because of government terms. There is only one negative remark which is for placements cell which is not active.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is great if you are interested in core fields. There are one Mid semester exam in each semester if you fail then remedial taken. And other is university exam which is taken by Gujarat Technological University. There are assignments and projects which is different by professor.
Placement Experience
Internship are not provided by Institute but if you have good contact with professor than they help to find. I got internship by one proffesior recommendation and stipend was 4000 Rs/month. No campus placements are there. Some companies invite students in other campus.
College Events
There are many events celebrated in GEC, MODASA. Like Engineer's Day, Independace Day, Sports Week, TechFest, Cultural Festival, Yoga day, Technothon for last year students, Garba, and many other events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's very feasible because it is Government College. Full year tution fee is 1500 Rs and other charges like gymkhana, thelesemiya test, locker charge, stationary charge are taken extra so yearly fees are around 3300 Rs.
Fees and Financial Aid
That are many scholarship are given to backward classes and Economical weak students. There is SBI loan which is preferred by Institute. As I am from open category I haven't availed any of them. But my friends got up to 23k of scholarships per year.
Campus Life
Extracurricular Activites are Sports week in which mostly all games are played by students and got prizes and also they go to the university level tournaments. Labs are very old so we need to adjust in that.
Alumni/Alumna
There are no institute level alumni network. But branch wise alumni details are taken in form but they are not active. Some senior students are in contact with some professor so they help students to get internship.
Admission
When I take admission it's through 60% of 12th percentile and 40% of JEE main exam percentile consider for merit and this all procedure done through ACPC(Admission Commission for Professional Courses ) , Ahmedabad.
Faculty
All faculty are very educated and experienced. All faculty members are friendly and they really interested in students personal and academic growth. They set extra lectures for weak students and also for that students which gives remedial exams.
