Remarks

It is located too far from the main city which results in inconvenience in travelling to main parts of city. It takes around 1500 RS to go to airport which is a big headache. Swiggy or Zomato doents deliver from many restaurants here

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is well structured 1 St year course are same for all branches and are mix of all branch so that we may get review of all branches. Then after that courses are specific to the branch in coming years and are planned in such way that we get quality knowledge of subject and its interlinked. Year is divided in 2 semester.each SEM has a mid-semester exam and an end-semestr exam. While some surpris quizzes may happen in regular classes to keep assessment smooth process

Placement Experience

5

Placement and job are good in IT sector, core placement sucks. Cs students gets placed 100% with mean package 18 lpa while electrical gets placed with 12 lpa mean. While who code gets placed in IT and conditions of mechanical and civil is not good. College provides internship called practice school 1) in summer break of 2nd year Nice industry experience with negligible or no stipend but overall great experience in terms of learning 2) in 4th year ( one SEM) Great experience all big companies like Amazon, Microsoft etc with stipend ranging from 30 kpa to 1.5lpa

College Events

5

All festival are celebrated in college Be it divali, holi etc There are many cultural and regional association in campus which are responsible for conducting that festival in college and all students are allowed to participate. We have 3 college fests 1) Atmos :- tech fest 2) arena :- sports fest 3) pearl :- cultural fest

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is too expensive. Around 2 lacks per semester which. Is rising at 15% per annum. Most of students depend on loans which are given by banks with 0 collateral because college is a+ graded college. Otherwise it is hard to give fees from house.

Fees and Financial Aid

Birla institute of technology and science provides 2 kinds of scholarship 1) merit cum need scholarship:- Available to students who have income < 10 lpa and have received CGPA > the cutoff decided by organisation that is generally around 6. Scholarship varies from 20% to 80% 2) merit scholarship:- Given to top 10% students of each batch. Varies from 40% to 80% on basis of cgpa

Campus Life

5

They are extraordinary , all world class equipment , features are available at no extra cost. All labs with great instruments and readily accessible.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostels are great any are equipped with great quality materials, single rooms are provided to 2nd to 4th year student. Freshers get double sharing room. Godrej stuff used. Jaguar showers etc used in toilet Overall exceptional quality products used And great infrastructure

Alumni/Alumna

We have a vast student-alumni-teacher network we care for each other on all platforms ranging from guidance in career choice or persuing MS in any college or giving any recommendations, seniors are very helpful they provide with books and are really helpful in providing mental and all kinds of support.

Admission

Birla institute of technology and science has an own test called BITSAT which is held near to JEE advanced. 10 days slots are given , different question paper for each slot and date. The max marks are 450 and generally min marks to get seat in engineering branch is around 300. Cutoff for computer science is highest.generally the cutoff of Pilani campus is higher than that of Goa and Hyderabad campus and in then also the cutoff of electrical and Computer science is most out of other branches. Students have to apply for their desired branch in the particular order and then they will be given the branch according to where they stand with respect to their BITSAT score.

The geology has very significant importance to human in more ways but the Geology related jobs are very less in state government and central government. Few geology related companies are give opportunities to students wit. Internships and also provide jobs with tough exam and interview. The companies are Geological Survey of India and NGRI etc.. we expect that jobs in state government jobs but very less in state government in geology related jobs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite relevant and comprehensive offering a balanced combination of theoretical and practical knowledge for learning. This curriculum helps in developing both conceptual clarity and analytical skills and prepare students well for real - world challenges as well as higher academic pursuits. This curriculum is strong and valuable. The frequency and timing of exams are generally reasonable though at times.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is an amazing course. Helps me understand the concept very deeply the curriculum is also really good. Every teacher has their own way of teaching some can improve but it is fine we can try to study and understand by ourselves a bit. When it comes to internals its of 20 marks we have as such three of them for one sem and avg of 10 is taken from it internals are of 1hr and externals will be about 2hrs 30mins and labs of 3hrs

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of the biotechnology course includes all the relevant topics needed to gain information about the subject. The curriculum also includes currently developing topics of interest which may gain popularity in the future (like bioinformatics). It thoroughly prepares us for real world applications as we gain exposure to various fields of interest in the subject and get a hands-on training in the subject. Ab area i would like to suggest for improvement is to alot equal no. Of periods to different papers in the subject as each topic has its own value in the academic and career purpose. The internals are conducted every month within a duration of 1 hour for each paper. there are currently 4 internals for our batch, each of 10 marks. The externals or the end semester exams are conducted at the end of the semester approx 6 months, which are of 50 marks. 10 marks is alloted for attendance, bringing the total to 1000.
