Remarks
Everything is fine the placement is a positive point and they're pretty strict about the 75% attendance criteria and this is negative point I believe. The student culture is very good you won't face ragging issues ever and the seniors are helpful.
Course Curriculum Overview
I feel the course curriculum is good they are applying changes every year to get the best results and train students for the industry. Examination pattern is according to UGC guidelines the credits and all, for B.tech their is 2 Assement test and End semester exam and many online quizzes and assignment go hand in hand for internal marking.
Placement Experience
Beside it is a private college placements percentage is over 90% this can be the main reason that many of the students come here as they train students for the interview and pre placement tests. They also do training program for the companies I have not done internship that is provided by the university so can't tell about that
College Events
The events go on through the year the student council organises many events on festivals freshers farewell and other promotion of movies and hackathon and workshops are also organised by various clubs in the university. A student can learn many things apart from their curriculum.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For B.tech computer science branch I'm paying 1,69,000rs for a year and I feel its a bit expensive for different branches the fee structure differs one can refer the website www.galgotiasuniversity.edu.in for more info.
Fees and Financial Aid
College give 25- 75% scholarship for rank holders in JEE exams or to the students who've scored more than 90% in PCM or attained under 50 rank in the entrance exams. If you haven't got any of the scholarship then you can perform well in the academics and if you score more than 9cgpa then you are eligible for 20% scholarship
Campus Life
Their are all required labs for each department we have interbranch tournament every year and we also participate in intercollege events too. Their is a separate college team for most of the sports. I would rate 9 out of 10 in extracurricular activities.
Hostel Facilities
I have not opted for hostel but the infrastructure is really very good- they have different facilities at every floor. Facilities they provide Gym, basketball court, football ground, chess room, TV room, dance room, squash room, and many more things but the fees is 1,20,000rs per year and it is far from the main city.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni are really helpful I've been in contact with many alumni and here the culture is very good the seniors are very friendly you won't ever feel that are seniors , you are free to ask any doubt from them and they give the best answer.
Admission
I gave their admission which is named as GU - Entrance test and this is for GALGOTIAS UNIVERSITY only. People mostly get confused in Galgotias college and university. I held 237 rank among all the students. Students can also apply for direct admission they charge 500 or 1000rs for that.
Faculty
Faculty is nice, almost 30% faculty is from South India so you'll see a diversity and the teachers are efficient according to the crowd, some teachers are really good and have deep knowledge of the subject but some teachers are not good at all.
