Remarks
Our college has a massive infrastructure which is very good for the students to study. Our college has a library which provides a lot of books. Coming to the negatives our college doesn't give equal priority to the departments. For example, CSE is strict whereas ECE is lenient.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our college decides internal marks based on three internal tests which will be conducted throughout the semester. All engineering courses are available in our college. Semester exam which is the final exam takes place at the end of the semester. 20 marks will be for internals. Semester is for 100 marks which will be converted to 80. Final result will be a combination of internal marks and semester marks.
Placement Experience
Placements are excellent. Top companies like Amazon,Microsoft recruit from our college. Our college provides internal funding projects with a stipend of 18000INR. Staffs assist us in internal funding projects and will be a good experience for our career.
College Events
Our college has a techfest and a culturals. One in the odd semester. Another in the even semester. Invente is a worldwide techfest which happens in the odd semester. Students from various colleges takes place in this event. Instincts is the culturals which happens in the even semester. A lot of fun based activities takes place in instincts.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As I am a merit student my fees is feasible to a greater extent. At present I am paying one and half lakhs per year. For management quota students it is two lakhs per year. However they provide a lot of scholarships to help students in paying the fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are a lot of scholarships opted by our college for rural students,first graduates and many more. If a student comes in the list of top 10 cgpa in a year scholarship will be provided. If a student holds a state rank in his/her school he will be provided scholarships.
Campus Life
Our college promotes a lot of extracurricular activities. Indoor courts are excellent for badminton players. Our college has won the most number of trophies for basketball. Our college has a large cricket stadium which is very good for players.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure is very good and pleasant. Mess food is manageable. It's not up to the level. First year hostel is very good for ladies and gents. With a lot of trees around it creates a pleasant suituation around the hostel.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are too good. Ragging happens during the first year students arrival which will be totally of friendly nature. Ravichandran Ashwin one of the top bowler of India is an alumni of our college. Seniors are very helpful in nature.
Admission
I got admission through counselling which was carried out by Anna University three years ago. Now my college has been developed to university and it's no more affiliated to Anna University.At present admission are only through management quota.
Faculty
Faculties are good and well educated. Some of them are strict and some of them are lenient. On my opinion, CSE has the most rough and tough faculties where as all the other department staffs are cool.
