Life at SMS

I am impressed with the college for the valuable knowledge they have provided me. But, I think they should look forward to making their institute more flexible and amend some of their rules & regulations in favour and convenience of students.

Our college is affiliated to the University of Lucknow and hence follows the course curriculum & exam structure of the same. According to me, the course and curriculum are more inclined towards theoretical knowledge. The curriculum is designed in such a way that it teaches almost all subjects which are essential, and also widens the knowledge domain of students.

I was a student of 2016-19 batch and I must say that they get their students placed and the placement scenario at School of Management Sciences, Lucknow' improves year after year. But, I must mention the fact that not all students are placed and even the one gets placed have very few choices.

As far as events are concerned, our college doesn't organize a lot of events but it does organize some annual events such as sports and cultural with the name of 'SPARDHA' and 'ABHIRUCHI' respectively. Some events are also organized by various committees in the college.

The annual fees for B.Com(Hons) ranges between Rs 45-50 thousand, and at the time of admission, the college also charges other fees such as admission, security, registration, etc. The annual fees for 'Bachelor of Business Administration' ranges from Rs 60-65 thousand.

I did not opt for any scholarship or education loan. But, in my knowledge, they do have a tie-up with Canara Bank for loan facility as well as students get scholarship from the state government if they fulfil the necessary requirements.

School of Management Sciences, Lucknow undoubtedly offers one of the best campus experiences. It has a lush green beautiful campus. There are many clubs and societies which conduct various events based on photography, literature. And other sports & cultural competitions are conducted on the campus which provides the students with a quality, enriching campus life.

School of Management Sciences, Lucknow' do have an alumni network and they regularly organize alumni meets at the campus. Senior students are of immense help to the students as they are the ones who guide freshmen after faculty.

I was enrolled to this college via. direct application. Talking about the admission process, all candidates who wish to study at 'School of Management Sciences, Lucknow' should meet certain criteria such as minimum qualifying marks for being eligible for admission process, and the admission process usually starts from the month of April to August.

I feel that the faculty of any institute is its greatest asset, and it would be fair to say that our college has one of the best faculty as they have strong knowledge of the subject matter and they bring sheer wisdom to the classroom.
