Remarks

The office staff is very rude and should learn to respect students. Also the working process of Wilson College is very slow. Many things get delayed by half an hour to one hour. Infrastructure is good, and the ambience is good as well. Students from all walks of life can be found in wilson college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

In F.Y.B.A, the compulsory subjects are Foundation Course, Communication Skills and any one from Hindi Marathi or Anthropology. We have freedom over subject combination which includes subjects like History, political science, psychology, sociology, english hindi and marathi literature, economics, philosophy etc. There are two semesters in each tear of under graduate course

Placement Experience

2

Yes, there is placement cell in our college. And various companies come to offer jobs to students. The track record for students getting jobs through Placement cell is very low. I have no idea about internships in our college

College Events

5

The college conducts many inter-college festivals. Ole is the major festival of our college, which includes competitions like Literary arts, performing arts, sports etc. Opportunities are available for students to volunteer for festivals. Other course specific festivals are Polaris for B.M.M, and other.Students can represent their colleges in other colleges, while competing in festivals. Also MUN and Youth Parliament are held once in a year

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure is not very expensive. Especially for Junior College. Fees is from 800-100. I.T is an unaided subject, for which rs 10,000 is required. The fees for under grad courses is 5,000. But fees for some unaided courses like B.M.M can reach upto 20,000

Fees and Financial Aid

There is some leniency towards girls and other weak students. Students can reach out to certain teachers if they are facing any financial difficulties. Which is known as Student Mutual Aid Fund. The teachers which we have to contact for this is posted on the notice board

Campus Life

4.5

The extra-curdicular activities are top notch. Providing great deal of experience for our future life. Students can volunteer for festivals, which includes work like finding sponsors, security, posting on social media, photography, on ground helpers etc. There are labs like psychology, chemistry and I.T. There is a Gymkhana where students can play games like Carrok, chess, Table tennis. Also training is provided to students for games such as boxing, badminton, cricket etc

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni of Wilsoj college is great. Including the former prime minister of India Moraji Desai. The senior students are very helpful. I myself have never heard of any cases about raging, bullying etc. They will be ready to help and guide you.

Admission

You have to submit marksheets of your previous qualifying exams like SSC, along with your Id documents. There is a special minority quota for Christians, where atleast 50 percent seats are reserved for Christians.

Faculty

4.5

Teachers are great and explain lectures with examples. They are very knowledgable, some also have Phd degrees. They regulary conduct debates, speech competitions etc in our classrom and also encourage students to speak up in class.

Quite substandard and below average. Prioritised rote learning over critical thinking. Just a rubber stamp for a degree. No actual education ever took place. Exams were anually or bi annually. Exams were difficult if you cannot write 30 pages in 3 hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.
